aw im 15 too and i know how hard it can be trying to find time to do everything but you have to be strong and control yourself if you are deadserious about losing all this weight.
you say you dont want to go to the gym with you mum, why not! you dont have to stick around with her...you can go off and do your own thing then meet up again later.
as for always being hungry, yes you may FEEL hungry all the time but alot of the time we think we are hungry but we are really just thirsty. after a meal go brush your teeth to get rid if the taste b/c that sometimes makes you want more when you are already full up.
try to cut how much you eat back alittle more each week , over time your stomach will have (hopefully) "shrunk" and you will get full up easier = you will not need to eat as much
exercise is very important in gerneral and dont expect to lose weight without doing any. get off you a** whenever possible and go out running or walking whatever just dont get stuck like a couch potato when you could be exercising and burning those calories!
try talking to your mum about getting some sort of running machine or something like that which you can put in front of the tv and so instead of sitting still and watching tv you can do exercise AND watch tv at the same time without having to go anywhere =)
good luck

Try vegtables cooked with just a little butter and salt. Not alot. Also try water and juices instead of sodas. You don't have to cut out alot of foods you like, but just cut down. Instead of 5 pieces of pizza, just eat 2 and something else without alot of bread-salad can be filling too. Put a dressing on it that you like. If pizza is a must, then get a veggie one. Walk - you don't have to walk alot . Just around the block once or twice a week will help. You'll notice changes in your health.

Pick up an after school activity, you can run yourself you don't need a P.E. class to work out. Don't let people make fun of you either, because its not funny. Also, all of these people on here that are telling you STOP EATING or anything else, don't pay them any mind, you will be just fine.

I've had the same problem all my life but I'm seventeen and I was 240 and i haven't had a gym class in three years. Thankfully i was never made fun of, but about 4 months ago i decided i needed to do something about it so i just started skipping a meal or two to shrink my stomach it was about 4 or five days with constant hunger pains. But eventually i noticed that i didn't eat nearly as much and i only eat when I'm really hungry and until I'm full. Its tough but worth it. I picked up a scale and started weighing myself every morning before breakfast also i started looking at different fitness websites to see somethings i could do. As fas as working out i hardly ever cuz i don't like to in front of people but my best friend was willing to work out with me so talk to your friends and see if they would be willing to motivate you. What i do do is go home throw on some good up beat tunes and dance i also do push ups and sit ups all that fun stuff and each night i try to increase the number but i don't work out on the weekends. Ultimately its a slow process if your not willing to give it your all but so far I've lost forty pounds and two pants sizes and it feels amazing my family is really supportive. But its you who has to be motivated enough but don't keep it to your self like i started out doing cuz friends and family really help. I hope this helps it might not work for you but its worth a shot also this is an amazing website to help you keep track of different measurments and it even plans out your meals and makes a grocery list for you so check it out. http://www.sparkpeople.com/index.asp

That is tough!! In particular at your age. My heart goes out to you. But listen up!! Only you can make the decision to lose the weight. Your reason seem to be emotional and so I would suggest you go seek some counseling to help you with what's troubling - or at least start visiting the self help section of the book store - there are lots and lots of books, (including self esteem books - which I'm sure you would benefit from.), out there to help!!! Second, I will tell you my own experience. I carried around 60 extra pounds for ten years of my life. I tried all kinds of diets and every day said tomorrow I would start another. Only one thing worked for me. Yep you guessed it. Excercise! For me I would go to the gym started out I could only do 10 minutes on the tread mill and then 10 minutes on weights, but each time (maybe three days each week), I added a few more minutes and the weight started dropping off which is very motivitating. I worked up to 45 minutes fast walking on treadmill and two sets of ten reps on various weight machines for about 10 minutes - and within 6 months I dropped 50 pounds!!!!! I also changed only three other eating habits. 1.) Only diet soda Only!!!! 2.) no more bowls of ice cream (I didn't miss it after a few weeks) 3.) ABSOLUTELY no french fries. If you go to McDonalds - eat the sandwich (which is horrible for you) but skip the greasy fries. Ten years later I don't excercise anymore - eating habits have stuck but I still haven't gained the weight back. I know it's hard to start that - but it gets easier each time you go and you start to feel very good about what you are accomplishing and watching how long it takes on the treadmill to lose the calories in a french fry makes the desire to have one less. Good Luck to you!!!!!

Work out by yourself. It never hurts to work out...run around town or at a track. Use portion control on your food intake. Set yourself a set diet. Not like fruits & veggies but 1 piece of pizza and a glass of water. And when you feel hungry wash your mouth out with mouth-wash. Like the strong kind. it helps me!!
Good Luck!!!

Alright, firstly, I need to tell you that starving yourself will do nothing but make you gain more weight. Basically, the more times you eat in a day, the more weight you lose. This is because your body knows it's constantly getting more food, so it releases the fat and calories. But if you eat unhealthy junk foods, like 5 slices of pizza an hour, you're doomed to gain weight, agreed?
So I would suggest you fulfill your hunger with healthier choices, such as lean chicken, veggies, fruits and cut down on the amounts of sugar and oils you consume.
As for the exercising, you don't need to work out at a gym. You can jog, and if it's too cold to jog, do exercises that don't involve any machines. Such as wall sits, push ups, sit ups, squats, stepping up and down a chair, walking up/down stairs, you can look up some more on the internet. You can also get a treadmill for Christmas/your birthday, so you don't have to get outside to run. But whenever you can, like in the spring or summer, try to get outside and do some real jogging. Fresh air is great. Exercising in general raises self-esteem, because you know you're doing something to help your body.
Hope I helped!
Oh yeah, on a side note, don't weigh yourself everyday. You can get obsessed with it and it can lower your self esteem more. And you can gain some weight from your muscles.

my friend and i just started working out at a gym too.
but since your not old enough... you can do things on your own. you can start out by walking/running around your neighborhood, or renting an exercise video to do at home. also you can do crunches/situps. i would start out at 50 or 75 at a time, and gradually increase. it also helps if you listen to upbeat music.
about food... i DEFINITELY know how you feel. i could eat an entire box of cheeze its in like an hour... but ive learned to eat like a granny smith apple, or a few wheat thins instead of chips or pizza rolls as a snack in the after noon.
all these changes may be hard at first.... but if youre really serious, and you stick to it, youll deff be pleased with the results!
hope this helped some!

Well since you like food, try eating five meals a day; use children plates so that you may control your portions. Also, eat a meal then snack, meal then snack then meal. so you have a total of two snacks and three moderate meals. the trick is limit your portions. also, every time you feel hungry before or after chew gum or drink water. hope this helps

Always try to eat six servings of fruit. Make a goal to never eat or drink pizza, chocolate, ice cream, milkshakes, cake or soda. Never eat or drink this until you loose a lot of water. Try to run around your house or house block every day two times. Always keep in mind that you want to loose weight and you will stop gaining weight. Always try to build muscles because it will eat away the fat.

Hmm... you should eat in portions. Portions mean a smaller amount of food, but you eat 8 portions a day. So, no 3 big meals a day... also, it would help to cut down the sugar and eat healthy foods. Vegetables and fruits for example.

You need to go to that gym and work out. Get over the embarassment of going with your mother and let her know how important it is that she take you on a regular basis. Cut out the obvious like fast food and soft drinks. Don't eat anything with more than 10mg of sugar. And start taking some B12 to give you energy. Good luck and be healthy.

Being hungry all the time sounds like the problem.
There's a hormone known as "Leptin" that is responsible for our feeling "full". It attaches to some receptors in the brain and turns off the hungry feeling. In certain people it stops working and they feel hungry all the time. I have a relative like this, but in her case it's the meds she's on to keep her schizophrenia in check.
What you'll need to do is check with your doctor to see if this is your problem. Explain to him how hungry you are all the time and some bozo on teh intarwebs told you about leptin.
Maybe there's some test he can do to confirm this or not.

OK let's weigh the fact's, you can go to a gym, right???? but you won't go with Mom ??? why not??? if you are that much into loosing weight, then for heavens sake go with Mom!!!! you need to eat breakfast!!! for sure even if you have to get up a little earlier, that's the most important meal of the day !!!!! then get out of the nasty habit of eating pizza and fast food junk !!!! you can do it, go to the Dr. have a blood test, make sure your Thyroid it right, and that you do not have diabetes, you are eating way too much because you are very insecure !!!!! you will never become secure, until you make up your mind, only you can do it, if you do not want to go to the gym with Mom, ask her (if its safe) can you walk after school, why not see if you have a neighbor, or a friend of Mom's that would like to join you in a walk, or another friend of your, what about after school sports????, I love the YA, because at night I stay on here and I don't eat, if I get in front of the stupid t.v. set, then I feel I need to eat, I also find that reading a good book helps, It is very hard to stop the madness of eating, but if you really want to you can stop, just ignore the urge, drink water when you feel hungry, that's works well also, good luck to you,

See a Doctor, They have medicine to keep you from craving food. Remember when you crave food it because you are not getting enough Vitimins, You need to eat the right foods.
Breakfast-This is the most important meal of the day. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF.
Eat at least a bowl of cereal.
NOTING WITH BUTTER.
Lunch
1/3 # of meat
Eat at least three vegetable._P. S. not potatoes
ONE GREAN
ONE YELLOW
Maybe a salad-With some dressing
Dinner same as Lunch
Timing is everthing.
7:00 breakfast
12:00 Lunch
5:00 Dinner
DON'T EAT AFTER 6:00. Food turns to fat if you are not active so if you are eating before you go to sleep then you are causing your body to store more fat.
Avoid Suger
Avoid OIL
Avoid Butter
Fry Food only with spray on pan Cooking oil.
Try not to snack unless you do something small.
Set a time of day to go walking a mile a day will help.
Two miles will be great. The early you do it in the morning the better but can be done at night as long as you do it you will lose weight.

Well its going to be hard at first when you cut down but do it gradually and you will find yourself getting less and less hungry. And eat slowly it will help your brain process that you are full. Don't just shove it down. And go with whole grainssss this is really important and also 24 oz. of milk a day will really really help. Running will probably help you lose the most fat. I suggest running the stairs. I do it for skiing and I feel great =) I hope this helps you out.

Let me start with this: you have to have the "i can do it no matter what it takes" attitude to get anywhere. You dont want to do WW because you dont have time, and you dont want to go to the gym because you dont want to go with your mom. The bottom line is this: If you want to make progress towards a healthier life, you HAVE to break down and DO whatever you have to do to make it happen. As far as weight watchers, you don't have to go to the meetings, and you don't have to make special food. Look online and get a weight watchers points book, and then you can see what food you can eat and how much you can eat. BUT SEE A DOCTOR forst, as weight loss programs are not geared towards adolescents. The best advice I can give you is to make a conscious change in your everyday habits. You dont need weights or PE in school. Twenty minutes of excercse a day that gets your heart rate up is a good start, and it will help. As far as the food, go for things that are lower in carbohydrates than what you would usuall eat, and start substituting fruit and/or veggies as snacks. Your body will adjust. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY****don't go overboard! You are only 15 and you said yourself you weren't always "fat." You are in a very important stage of growing, and you never know a year from now you might be four inches taller and even yourself out. Just don't get down on yourself, and don't let what the others say bother you. I had quite a time in school with other people making fun, but I now realize that for some smaller people it makes them feel more important to make someone feel bad. I will keep my fingers crossed for you ok and dont give up!!!!

What the fcuk - oh my goodness you weight 230 pounds
Take chew gum for controling - Here you go Read below
Five Basic Nutrition Strategies For Healthy eating:
Eat High-Fiber Low-Glycemic Foods:
Low-glycemic foods are carbohydrates that breakdown slowly, releasing sugar into the bloodstream gradually rather than all at once. These foods almost always contain fiber. The fiber is what is mostly responsible for slowing the absorption of the sugars. These foods can provide long-lasting energy. Most vegetables (especially dark green), most fruits, whole-grains and nuts are high-fiber, low-glycemic. For optimal health, get your grains intact from foods such as whole wheat (whole-grain) bread, brown rice, whole-grain pasta, and other possibly unfamiliar grains like quinoa, whole oats, and bulgur.
Eat More Protein:
Your body requires more energy (calories) to process protein than it does carbohydrates. Eating more protein can increase your metabolism, thereby increasing your bodys ability to burn fat. Protein is necessary for your body to build muscle, and building more muscle increases your ability to burn fat. Good options include eggs, low-fat or no-fat dairy products, lean meat, poultry, seafood and Whey protein supplements. Nuts and legumes are also excellent sources of protein; plus you get the added benefit of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Legumes include black beans, red beans, pinto beans, navy beans, garbanzos, and other beans that are usually sold dried.
Eat Frequent Small Meals Throughout The Day:
Eat 6 smaller meals per day, rather than 2-3 larger meals. This will ensure that you will supply your body with the necessary nutrients to build muscle and burn fat while increasing your metabolic rate. It will also supply a constant stream of energy to prevent fatiguing early and prevents the body from kicking into starvation mode. If this happens, your body will burn muscle for energy increasing your body fat stores as well as slowing down your metabolism.
Eat Balanced Meals:
I eat lots of chicken and fish plus an occasional serving of lean red meat. I love my salads and veggies. Beans, brown rice and whole-wheat pasta are my side dishes. I snack on fruits and nuts and even use them to top whole-grain cereals and yogurt. I drink fat free milk everyday which I use also in smoothies. My meals are simple and nutritious. I balance my meals by making sure I’m eating plenty of protein and fiber in each meal.
NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST:
This is the one meal you cannot afford to miss! Jump start your day with a high-fiber, high protein meal containing complex carbohydrates, avoiding simple (sugary) carbohydrates which trigger hunger and sleepiness a few hours later. Choose whole-grain cereals that are loaded with fiber and protein instead of sugar (i.e. Kashi Go Lean .. or Oatmeal). Top with fat-free milk or Soy milk and sliced almonds. Sweeten with blueberries or strawberries for a boost in disease fighting antioxidants. Smoothies are great for breakfast too!
I hope this will help
Merry Christmas

Dude I used to be the same way.
I weighed 180 something, and then I started free running.
Just running around my neighborhood, no special route, a good 3 or 4 miles a day. Running, jogging, and mostly walking.
I burned that weight off like it was butter!!
Do the same, it really does work. Also, you need to control your calories, make a schedule of when you can eat, even if your hungry dont eat, and only eat meals when you are scheduled to.

First off--this is a commitment. If you don't have time to make lunch every morning or go to meetings, what makes you think you'll have time to exercise and eat healthy meals?
Next--consult a doctor before doing anything. Your problem is in emotional eating, and that's something that you need to realize.
You'll need to get some motivation. It doesn't matter what it is--find a pair of pants you would love to see yourself in. Find it in a size one or two smaller than you are now. Don't go to the size you want to be in the end, but just go slowly.
Finally, Weight Watchers (WW) isn't something that's bad. I think you need to be 18 to be in it (not sure), BUT you don't have to go to meetings. You can also just use the online portion. And you don't have to eat their food--you have to eat healthily.
If you're going to lose weight, you need to do it wisely. You need to use portion control and exercise. Just because you have to go the gym with your mom doesn't mean you have to work out beside her the whole time. If you go to the gym, you'll see tons of kids working out on their own. You just need a parent to GO to the gym with you.
Also try drinking more water and eating more fruit. Instead of grabbing for the pizza, try a banana. When you feel the need to eat, take ONE MINUTE and think about it. Think about the body you want to have.
You also need to be careful because you can't jump from your 3000 calorie diet you have now and just go to nothing. Your body will be shock and go into starvation mode--not something you want to have.
Instead, listen to your body and ONLY eat when you're full. If you have a weakness of pizza, tell yourself that you'll only eat 2 pieces and ENJOY THEM. So many people fear calories and food--learn how to enjoy them in a healthy way instead of fearing them. Enjoy each bite of food you take. Enjoy the food, but make healthy decisions.
If you're serious about this, then it will work.
When I was 17, I went from 150-210 in one year. Stress, new environment, my grandmother's passing, etc. It was terrible. I spent 3 months getting into a new lifestyle--the more I exercised, the more I found myself eating less junk food. The more I WANTED to be healthy. In the end, I went from 210-160 in about a year or two, and I kept it off until I had kids.
Namely, I lost 3-4 dress sizes. I lose over 60 inches in just 5 months because I kept at it.
If you're serious, you'll take it slow and look at it as a lifestyle change, not a quick fix.
And for the record, I don't believe in the NO diet. You know it--"NO candy, NO soda, NO________"--it's not realistic. Are you EVER going to eat candy? Are you EVER going to drink soda? OF COURSE! Learn how to control your portions and you'll know how to eat candy and drink soda WITHIN reason.
