yeah, but barely. I'm also 5'4 and used to be 180, too. I used sparkpeople.com and lost about 40 pounds last year. But, if you do decide to lose weight. Don't diet. Eat smaller portions, fruits and veggies, whole grains. Don't eat under 1200 calories in a day and get rid of white bread, white pasta and white rice. You may still grow a bit and lose some weight taht way. Don't stress yourself out about it too much.

OMG no!!! im 13 and 4'11" and i weigh 100 lbs. you are much taller than me so you weigh more and it depends on if you have body fat or have muscles becaue muscles weigh more than fat and my 13 yr old cousin weighs 196 and she is 5'6" and not obese so i highly doubt you are obese!

Sadly, yes. According to a BMI calculator, your BMI is 30, putting you in the overweight/obese category. This is something you can change however, with a healthier lifestyle and exercise. Good luck to you.

It's good you are concerned about your weight. You should weigh about 115 to 125 lbs for your height. So stay away from the chips cookies candy and fast foods.Eat healthy food and start exercising by walking, swimming, jumping jacks, sit ups. Before you know it you will feel and look great. But you have to quit eating the fatty foods you probably like to eat.Fruits are a great substitute for you and good too.Hope you try to lose before you get to where you can't.Good Luck

Yes. But don't fret. Your body is growing and changing and you will benefit greatly by eating healthier and making wiser food choices, and your body will take care of the rest. Remember that slow and steady is the best way to change eating habits and lose weight. But...you do need to do this. Because your body is growing and changing, you will be surpised by how little of an effort it will take. Stick to it and you will begin to love the body you're in! :-)

Doctors usually use your Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine if you are at a healthy weight, overweight, or obese. It is a pretty simple mathematical formula - your weight (in kg) divided by your height (in meters) squared. Your BMI right now is 30.9, which is just in the obese range. If you were to lose just 6 pounds, it would put you out of that range. You can do it! Good luck!

Yes, but don't concentrate on your fat. Concentrate on your health. Obese people aren't the healthiest people and healthy people aren't usually obese.
You don't have to GO ON a diet to be slim and healthy, but you defiantly have to CHANGE your diet. Eat healthy, filling meals at meal time - no snacks - and exercise everyday. It may seem hard at first for some people, but you will get use to it.

Sorry, but you are. But on the bright side, you have the metabolism of a teenager, and with minimal exercise you can get into great shape. Just start walking everyday.

That is a little much. See your doctor, you might need to diet and exercise more so you aren't putting yourself at risk for heart disease or diabetes.

Yeah, it sounds like it.
No shame in being full-figured! But do yourself a favor and try and exercise and lose weight. I'm 27 and have been overweight since I was your age, and I feel like I've wasted my youth being fat. Lose it now, because when you are older, it gets harder.
