Anything high protein, high carb. Something that will bulk you up, but not sap your energy. Protein drinks are a good start. I suggest Xyience brand or GNC.

do you take vitamins? if not you should try taking them, those that can boost your appetite... also try drinking protein, people who are on a diet substitute protein drinks for meals but you want to put some weight on so try it with or in between your meals... its also good cause ift firms the mucsles... good luck!!!

If you have a hard time eating quantity items, then eat quality foods. Like...ice cream, milkshakes, cake, that kind of stuff. Eventually you should get some meat on you.

How do you find it difficult to eat? Do you have an obstruction in your esophagus? Just eat. Eat mcdonalds or eat some steaks. Take in alot of protein. That will thicken you up.

How old are you, as I know from my experience and from a lot of my friends, jung people often don't have enough appetite, you shouldn't force your self. Mostly after age 15-20 you gain your appetite and you build up and soon you will be a big strong man! YEAH! ;)

I am small as well. Whenever, I want to put on weight I go to the gym and lift weights. Try eating red meat and potatoes. If that doesn't help maybe you have an underlying condition like diabetes, Thyroid disease or something. If you are under weight see your doctor for instructions, but if you are too embarassed try surfing the net for weight gain advise on yahoo health or something.

i think you should meet with a nutritionist. they are really great at spotting high calorie foods that can up your weight. they can also help you decide on foods that you like and then suggest other foods based on what you like and put together a healthy weight gain diet.

eat healthy in small amounts then. I personally eat like a baby, every 2 hours. Because I have small children and they are always hungry. But I eat small sized meals and snacks. and my snacks are healthy not chocolate and other junk. before I did this I was 5'1" 90lbs tiny lady....now I am 5'1" 110lbs and I feel 10 times better than I did when I ate 3 normal size meals a day.

Apple juice. Malts shakes with extra malt. Weight Gainer 2000 (or whatever it's called now). Try adding vitamin B6 (I believe) to increase appetite. Ensure also adds calories and isn't too bad. Good luck.

Funny... it is just as hard for tiny people to gain weight as it is for fat people to lose weight... Eat a lot of starchy foods... potatoes, italian food... etc...

You have to know some people do gain weight more easily than others. Keep in mind your genes depend on your weight gain and your tendency to fidget, here are three ways to try and help you with you quest for putting up some pounds:
1. Drink lots of juice and high-calorie beverages. This may be helpful since you find yourself difficult to eat more.
2. Eat consistently. Every day, have three hearty meals plus one to three additional snacks. Do not skip meals.
3. Trying eating something before bed. You may make a weight-gain drink by mixing mixing 1 quart of 2%-milk, along with 4 packets of Instant Breakfast and 1/2 cup of powdered milk. I should hope you find this easy to ingest.
