you will not lose weight that way. My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated Soy protein or Whey protein. Whey is more potent but the Soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Just do more sports. Be on your feet more... like, I walk and jog for about 6 hours everyday... 2 hours of which I have my school bag on my shoulders. It gets me really hungry, and I am starving so much that I want to eat 4 meals per day. But I eat two and that's how I drop a pound whenever I feel like it. But then, I think my sizes are normal: I'm 5'7" and I weight around 144. Eat nutritious healthy food and make yourself workout more to get musscles. Best is to do it with a buddy who's as confident as you are to lose weight, cause doing it mono is not fun; which is really the reason why I never work out by myself and go to a Tae Kwon Do class 3 nights a week for 2 hours of throught-drying workout. it really isn't,t healthy. only eating once a day is only training your body to store fate and burn muscle . you should eat 3 times a day and snack 2 times a day lay off the junk food and soda and last but not least EXERCISE!!!

5 small meals a day. It sounds like a lot for weight loss but if you limit the portions and eat more frequently you will find yourself less hungry. Also, your body won't go into starvation mode and start storing fat making it harder to shed.
I did it on three small meals a day but I was really hungry. Five works pretty well. Good luck!

No that's not healthy. Small portions 3-6 times a day is healthy. Eat healthy snacks and drink lots of water. Losing weight healthy instead of fast is way better.

You burn fewer calories, so your body can survive on the fuel of fewer calories. It's is more effective to maintain a regular healthy diet (with a slightly lower calorie content) and exercise daily. Exercise not only increases your metabolism, but also burns calories in the process. Cut back on breads, potatoes, rice, and pastas. Substitute water for other drinks.

Actually, no. But If you do choose that, eat breakfast because it's most important. Eating three times a day, and exercising is best. Eat healthy foods only though.

eating less a day slows down your metabolism, which in turn can pack weight on. you need to become more active and exercise and eat 3 meals a day. exercise can help speed up your metabolism and that will help food process food faster and lose weight :D

it's a no-no!
you don't need to eat that seldom just to lose weight... how about follow some simple dietary foods, like the southbeach diet or some sort...
or you may lower your carbo intakes, meaning less rice, wheat, or any carbo-producing foods....

if you eat once a day and you eat crap you will gain weight. eat small amount 5 or 6 times a day and dont eat anything inside of 3 hours before you go to bed. the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories then you take in so if you only eat 2000 cals and your burning 4000 per day then youll be shedding pounds in no time

Just count calories. You should probably be eating around 1500 calories a day to be losing weight. Spread this over several meals--this will keep your energy up so you can add some exercise as well.

Eating once a day tells your body, "hey, slow down burning the calories b/c I'm only getting food once a day. I might starve if you burn off calories too quickly!" In other words, you're slowing down your metabolism a lot.
Instead, eat 3-6 healthy meals a day, the more the meals, the smaller they should be. Exercise. You'll see the pounds come off in a couple of weeks.

No, eating only once a day starves your body of the calories it needs as well as the nutrients. You can't possibly get all the nutrients and calories you need in one serving.
It is best for you to eat several small meals. The experts say to eat 6-7 times a day in very small portions and to drink lots of water. You should also try doing some excerising 3-4 times a week to help tone your body as you are losing your weight.

3 healthy low calorie, low cholesterol with 3 small healthy snacks would be better, depending on your weight you can do a 1200 to 1800 diet. go to the American Heart Association on the web to get a diet or make your own. Lots of water.

Eat smaller meals throughout the day - eating is what gives you energy. People with fast metabolisms tend to eat 4-5 small meals throughout the day and it's healthy food, not junk. Eat small meals, eat healthy, cut out junk food, and try to excersize at least 3x a week.

Yes there's a better way! It's called eating more! The less you eat, the more your metabolism is going to slow down...you are actually probabaly hurting yourself more than helping. Eat 5-6 small meals and exercise regularly. Keep your diet balanced with high protein, whole grain carbs and low fat.
