Seriously, I don't think that's normal or healthy to lose 15lbs a week.
I am reading a book right now about making 2 degree changes. Just losing a couple pounds a week can have a dramatic impact on your health and waistline.

To lose weight is a very serious thing to do. To lose weight you should regulate your diet according to Canada's food guide, and excersize daily. Make sure you do not limit your food intake or water intake, these are extremly vital in your process to lose weight. All healthy people are fit and eat properly. DO NOT TRY ANYTHINg DANGEROUS LIKE ANOREXIA! Anorexia will literally start eating away at your muscles and you will soon be to frail to walk and you will die. If you survive anorexia you will deal with constant hunger pains forever! I hope this helps you and best of luck!

Don't do it. It's better to lose about 2 to 3 pounds a week at most. The reason is if you do more than that, you will most likely be losing muscle as well as fat. If you start losing muscle, your metabolism will go down and you will gain the weight back easier. You could lose some water weight as well, but that's not really helping either.
It's better to exercise to lose the fat. Eat correctly to keep the muscle. If you aren't losing weight while exercising, try reducing your calories by a few hundred less to see if it helps.
Starting and keeping an exercise program is hard. For me, I started small - walking more and giving up soda. After awhile, I added more exercise and modified my eating a bit more.

You probably can't sustain that, but if you just want one week, Slim-fast works really well. If you follow the program, you lose a lot of water weight, and clear out your system. Maintain an active lifesyle and your burned calories will be more than your intake. It's a temp fix, once you resume your regular diet, it will come back.

Yea, it's true! Normal weight loss is about 2 lbs per week. You should try to do it the right way and not try to do it fast. It's more worth it because if you lose it the right way the chances of gaining it back (and then some) are smaller. Trust me!

If you need to lose 15lb by next Thursday, you should have started about three to six weeks ago!
Starving yourself will not make you that much lighter, just ill.
The only solution is to move more, eat less (it's working for me). Join a gym, take up salsa dancing, have more sex, whatever, it's all exercise and watch your diet!!

you won't lose that much in a week even if you ate nothing but drank water. unless maybe u exercise excessively but that would burn up all your energy and you would most likely faint.

You don't. Please don't look at shows like the biggest loser and think it's natural. They have doctors and all they do is deal with fitness and eating healthy, there is nothing else to do. 2-3 lbs. a week is excellent for a normal human being. Life is precious.

This 7-day eating plan can be used as often as you like. If correctly followed, it will clean out your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well-being. SOUP:
1 or 2 cans of stewed tomatoes
3 plus large green onions
1 large can of beef broth (no fat)
1 pkg. Lipton Soup mix (chicken noodle)
1 bunch of Celery
2 cans green beans
2 lbs. Carrots
2 Green Peppers
Season with salt, pepper curry, Parsley, if desired, or bouillon, hot or Worcestershire sauce. Cut veggies in small to medium pieces. Cover with water. Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue to cook until veggies are tender.
This soup can be eaten anytime you are hungry during the week. Eat as much as you want, whenever you want. This soup will not add calories. The more you eat, the more you will lose. You may want to fill a thermos in the morning if you will be away during the day.

Unsweetened juices
Tea (also herbal)
Coffee
Cranberry juice
Skim milk

I've done it,,,I went on Atkins's diet the no carbs, I talked to my doctor first he gave me the go ahead but told me no longer than 3 months the biggest loss is in the first 14 days which I did lose 15 then I ended up losing another 12 the next 3 weeks, the good thing was being I wasn't eating sugar I was never hungry plus what diet can you eat a whole pot roast with a side order of bacon,,,I don't suggest that of course but sweetie it works,,,I know people will put it down when they read it,,,If you do do it buy the book: the nice thing is you can eat and as much as you want when you want so you never have to be hungry,,,,good luck =)

Just make your eating portions half the size of what your used to.....And make yourself take walks!! Walks are so good for your cardiovascular system and they help every part of your body to lose weight!! I love, love,love, my walks!!! Then when your home you can do excercises in bed at nights, or before you get up in the morning would be better, because excercising gives you energy and if you do them at nighttime like the models do than it may take you a bit longer to go to sleep. Either way these excercises I'm going to give you are so Wonderful for losing weight quickly!! Your lying on your back, arms down straight on your sides,knees up and bent and start pushing your pelvic up as tight as you can hold, then lay down for a minute, and repeat. Another one is "Crunches" you take your head and push it up as far as you can go towards your stomache as possible with your arms brasing the back of your neck, and with your knees up or down. With your knees down it makes it a harder work-out but better results!! Than you can lay your arms straight on your sides again, and put your mid-area up in the air and start riding the bike straight up in the air, NOT down bed level!! While those legs are up in the air, you can also do the scissors with them. One leg as far to one side as possible while the other is the exact opposite!! Models do these, I heard on the "Tyra Banks" show. So,if Models can do them and look how great they look, than they are very effective this I promise you!! When I first started to doing them I couldn't believe how fast I started feeling and seeing results!!! Good Luck hun!! You wont have a hard time loseing that weight should you be firm and discipline yourself about doing the above regimen!! Also, you could eat just fruits and vegeez for a week if you really want to try to lose the weight even faster with only half a peice of whole grain wheat bread and maybe some salmon or boneless skinless baked honey chicken. Excellent diet for losing weight quick too!! Good Luck again!! Smile, you'll be there in no time FLAT!! You'll see!!!

When you begin a diet you will probably lose around 5lbs during the first week but that will be mostly fluid. On subsequent weeks if you manage to lose an average of 2lbs per week you will doing just fine & will remain healthy.
