I don't like bones sticking out on girls, and when they are so thin they have no boobs and hollow cheeks. Most girls seem to like being this way though, but I'd rather be fat with large, luscious breasts.
EDIT: based on your body description, you sound too thin. Why do you want people to see your bones? Eat a sandwich.

well, it is a bit of a complicated question..... if u are not eating right.. say if u are only eat 2 a day then that is not enough..... if u are eating sufficently throught the day, getting plenty of protein and good carbs, and have enough energy to do most of your daily routine, then u are probably ok.
In general though, i can say 115lbs for 5,8 is a little too slim.... you would definently not want to go any lower then that. so do not be shy to gain some weight.. unless u got a super metabolism.... if u lose your period, and alot of bodily hormonal changes, u need to gain....

a women needs at least 12% body fat to maintain health. you should really go see your doc

if that were the case, my "ideal" weight would be 110.
my lean body mass alone is 106. i would be dead if i weight 110.

You could usually tell when you are too thin when you don't fell good. Malnutrition causes the person too fell fatigued (hope I spelled that right) and weak. Your body does not get enough of what it needs, and really bad things begin happening to you, such as sudden hair loss, yellowing of the skin, skipping your period (if you are a girl.)
If you fell perfectly fine and have sufficient energy throughout the day, then I really don't think you have a problem.

Usually if you can see every last sinew and entire vertebrae on a person's back, it means they are too thin.
Another really good way is to look at their ankles and feet, and if the feet seem almost swollen because their ankles are so tiny and skinny, they are too thin.
