How can i starve my self with out feeling hungry???
the problem is , i want to lose weight, i hav tried different diets, but still not working 4 me :( the only obtion i have now is starve myself of food, and rely on water, how can i do this without craving 4 food?

Hon, neither starving nor dieting will help you lose weight!! Its WHAT you eat & how much exercise you get! Stop eating foods where most of the calories are from fat. Eat a LOT of fish & white meat chicken without skin! Eat lots of fruits & veggies! If you like to dance, play your favorite dance music in your room & go crazy! The more energetic your dancing, the more exercise. Swing & fling your arms & legs! Its fun & even if you look/feel like an idiot, no one else can see you! Good luck sweetie! PS Starving yourself will only make you sick! HONEST! And remember, being thin is never as important as being yourself! Liz

Sensible eating and exercise are the best thing. You may think you are overweight but aren't . Or if you are, then it's good to find a diet Plan that works for you. Like anything when you deprive yourself you end up usually overcompensating later so it's best to do things in moderation.

Telling a person not to starve is really telling them to do it. And the person who passed out on the floor and went to the hospital is the a-typical Lifetime movie "I need help" type who can't tough it out. Definitely not the usual real-life scenario. I'll bet her whole family rushed to her aid. Mine just yells at me and tries to make me fat.

I have been doing this stuff for years and have lost plenty of weight, and have kept right on working, and nothing has ever happened to me. Yes, I feel bad at times. But all blood tests come up normal. What's more, I hide it well, and no whining about it, either.

I have minor health problems like diziness but nobody cares and they never take me to the hospital if I ask. They've also discouraged me from calling an ambulance, and have hung up the phone in my face even. I always end up being okay anyhow.

You can try eating little--what you can handle. Only keep "good" things around. Throw the fatty stuff out. Nobody has to eat as much food as people try to make you eat. Meals are unnecessary.

Example--how about some fat-free low-carb yogurt made w/ Splenda or whole-grain crackers and a piece of South Beach spreadable cheese (1.5 g of fat), or a piece of whole-grain no sugar toast and fat-free cream cheese? That is all low-glycemic and basically like eating nothing.

Bottom line--you can starve by eating less calories but not die or hurt yourself by doing it. Who says you have to eat meat, fish, chicken or heavy meals that make you get bloated? And the more you cut out sugar and carbs, the less hungry and more in control you will feel b/c your blood sugar won't be swinging up and down. But low-carb does not have to mean high-fat.

Just like starving doesn't have to mean no food. It can mean less food.

If weight loss is what you're looking for then here's what you need. The best combination for weight loss is calorie restriction, resistance training, and aerobic work. Let's start with calorie restriction. Over the years I have had personal training clients as well as athletes come to me wondering why they are not losing weight. They tell me they eat right, exercise right, say their prayers, eat their vitamins, etc., and they just can't seem to lose weight. Well, most of the time, once I really get to know them, I find that nutrition is the culprit. You need to know what you're eating. Most of the people I'm talking about all thought they did.

How do you change this? Well, it may sound tough, but it's not that bad. You need to keep track of what you eat for 2 days over the week, and 1 day over the weekend. Next, go to you're local book store. You can find charts, books, and computer programs that will help you analyze the foods you ate. Another suggestion would be to take your dietary recall to a nutritionist or exercise physiologist at your local college and let them find it for you.

These recalls will tell you how many calories you're getting plus where they are coming from. For example, are they coming from protein, carbohydrate, or fat. It will help you see where you stand nutritionally.

Next, you need to get on a good strength program. When a person is losing weight, the weight comes from fat, as well as muscle. That's kind of an unfortunate thing because muscle is an important thing when keeping metabolism high. There is enough research out there to safely say that when going through a phase of high intensity aerobic work and calorie restriction, strength training decreases muscle wasting. So, in short, strength-train. It's important. I wouldn't strength-train for anymore that 20 to 30 minutes. You can get what you need in a short period of time.

After the strength training, it's time to get on the bike, treadmill, stepper, track, whatever. Keep your workouts to 30 minutes and up in order to burn the calories. Train between 3 to 5 times per week. Keep your heart rate at 60 to 90% of heart rate max.

Don't look at losing weight as some mysterious monster that you can't get the reins on. Look at it as nothing more than stored energy. That's what fat is?stored energy. If you had a tank full of energy and it kept filling up higher and higher, what would you do to keep your tank from growing too large from the excess energy? Well, burn some of the energy off. That's what you need to do to lose weight. Keep the "energy in" lower than the "energy out" and abracadabra, you're losing weight.

Note: You need to change your routine every 2-3 weeks in order to get the best results.

The simple answer is don't. Starving youself to lose weight is not healthly and possibly deadly. Depending on how fast your metabolism it could take only a couple days to cause serious damage.

there really is no way to not feel hungry you should not starve yourself for to long only one day and the next day you should probably eat a little salad or a rice cake or something small for every meal and if you should not try to starve yourself for to many days mabe one day per week and then like on occasions you can let yourself splurge by eating a hamburger or something but really when you starve yourself you should try stopping every now and then to pray adn keep your mind off the hunger only if you are christian but it is really relaxing to have a day of prayer and bible reading that way you are calm and you are soothing yourself

fantasia, the last thing you want to do is deprive yourself of eating. i suggest that you continue to drink water but drink more of it. at least 5 glasses a day. make it the first thing you do in the morning. if you area working person, take a bottle of water to work with you. get the big sized bottles and drink or sip on it through the day.if your in school do exactly the same thing.the most important thing you can do is to exercise.walking is great,it burns calories. running burns then faster but do one or the other or both.take a bottle of water with you to replenish your body. you will have craving for food because it bacomes a habit to eat the things you like an not the things your body need. stay with it. the best thing you can do for you and your loved ones is to stay as wealth as possible. don't ever think that you have run out of options. we all have option,its what we do with those options that matter.

exercise and healthy eating are the proper way, healthy eating meaning protein, and low on the carbs, if you must eat carbs, eat good carbs, not starch foods such as white potatoes, or white rice, no, good carbs from sweet potatoes, or brown rice... but you shouldn't be starving yourself anyway to lose weight, that can lead to other problems, your body needs food to keep it going, malnutrition can cause damage to your body...

Oh my god!!! You need to exercise and eat a healthy diet. Starving yourself results in a psychological disease called anorexcia nervosa. It can KILL you and you won't be pretty. Your gonna look like a shitty pile of bones! Go to a doctor and tell them you want to lose weight and they will set you up on a healthy and manageable diet. PS. Good things come with time and hard work.

WOW you know what to ask to make ppl answer you!!! But I know exactly what you mean!!! I started 2 months ago on phenermine (livelighter.com)I am not hungry AT ALL! food is Nasty to me. That has never happened B4. I know ppl are going to hate me for telling you all this but.. I am right there with you! I do try to eat somedays but it is hard! And I dont care what NE one says I LOVE IT!!! I have droped 24 lbs. in less then 2 months. Can NE one eles say that???? And it stays off!! because the meds. help you chang your life style thay give you energy so you want to exersice and thay make food yuk so you dont want fatty things any more. and if you take them for 3 months an d then stop.... You have been living heathy for 3 months... Buy then you will b use to it !!!

OMG That is not the way to go. It is to eat healthy foods. Cut out the junk food and fast foods. See a dr. You need to overcome that thought. A good dr will not put you on pills or tell you to starve yourself. Please keep me informed.

Exercise a lot, eat only healthy foods, don't starve yourself. If you starve yourself, you loose water weight even if you drink water (you get a lot of water from food). This goes for about a week, you lose a few pounds, then you start to lose muscle. You'll have to starve for like 2 months before you actually lose weight that won't come back the minute you eat again. Don't do it.

unfortunatly i know the answer to your question. I know exactly how to do... how to hide it. all the tips and tricks inside and out. I delt with an eating disorder for almost 13 years. You begin to love food and hate it. please do not go down this road. the permanant effects with be with you forever. My metobilism is shot. I can't lose weight hardly at all anymore even if i don't eat for days. My teeth are erroded and i have massive cavities from where i made myself throw up all the time. (My teeth are horrible and i am one of the lucky ones there. i still have my teeth prolonged stravation can make you lose them and throwing up can make them brittle because the enamel is gone.) My periods have not been regular since i started doing that to myself. I lost big chunks of hair. my sweat stank, my breath stank, and it becomes addictive you get a little high after everytime you throw up... and if you just don't eat the feeling of hunger begins to feel good until you can't stand the feeling of food on your stomach.
I can't begin to explain the pain on my family's faces as the watched me wither away. getting tinier and tinier cause no matter what you never lose enough.trips to hospital.
IV's Passing out on the floor at the time... the concussions i have because i used to pass out all the time.
The diet pills, vitamins, laxatives i tried it all.
I got very good at it. Then i got pregnant and almost lost the baby because my system was so used to not eating even when i ate because i loved that baby i threw up. i would gain and lose and gain and lose. When i gave birth to my son i was only 7 pounds heavier than when i got pregnant which was small to begin with. I even had to have him early because he had stopped growing... i was trying to eat but food was so foriegn a concept to me, my body just rejected it. I know several women who miscarried because of it.

I cannot begin to expalin to you the horrors of my life and the pain i still have to this day because of all that i went through.you never get over it. You just learn how to deal with it better.

After all this all i can tell you is be happy with who you are. So you carry more than you think you should. If you want to lose weight do it the right way don't starve yourself. you'll only set a pattern for the rest of your life. If you need to go see a councilor, The whole process is way to addictive the more you do it the more you want to do it. Please heed my warning for you are about to embark on something to make yourself more beautiful that will ruin your hair, nails, skin, teeth, figure, reproductive system,relationships, your entire life is it really worth it? Take it from someone who has been there. I wish i could take it all back.

weight is maintained by calories in = calories burned. If you starve your self your body will start storing fat. That's just how the body works. What you need to focus on is eating smaller meals. six small meals are better than three big meals. each meal should be maintained around 200-300 calories each. Such meal like "smart ones" are a good way to manage how much calories you're taking in. Drink plenty of water 32oz a day at minimum. exercise,even if you just walk alil each day that's better than none at all. hope this helps.
