How can I stop myself from gettin hungry when I dont eat?

I dont care whatever you say about if I dont eat my metabolism will slow down and i'll just put it back on. Im not eating. Im not eating breakfast I might have a sandwich and then my dinner. I get really hungry though. How can I cure this. Ive tried eating ice but its not always available. Drinking water makes me need the loo all the time and they dont let us go to the toilet unles its lunch or break at school.

ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST Try eating oatmeal or something high in fiber. Fiber fills you up longer. Eat more fruits and veggies and NEVER starve yourself because like you said you WILL binge later. Chewing gum does work but you also MUST drink lots of water. It is very good for you and you can never get to much of it. Water also fills you up. You can also get great ideas at the Weight Watchers website as www.weightwatchers.com on the message boards, they are free to sign up for.

Drink water and get your parent to write a note to allow you to go to the bathroom when (you) have to. That's ridiculous not to be able to go when you need to.

Eat protein bars or 1/2 cup of almonds when you get hungry. Make sure the bar is a healthy one w/out a lot of sugar.

First of all, you really should eat a good breakfast. You can eat more at breakfast because you'll have more time during the day to burn the calories you've consumed. You also won't be starving during the rest of the day.

Whenever I'm really hungry and don't want to eat, I will chew gum, brush my teeth, or drink a huge glass of water. Try waiting a few minutes after doing each of these, and focus on something else; you will see that many times, your hunger will fade away.

Frankly, this isn't a very healthy way to loose that weight. But if it's working for you, and you are going to continue, then I'd recommend that you add some fiber to your diet, even if it's citracel or bentiful...any fiber that adds bulk to your stomach when you are drinking a lot of water.
You'll find that you don't pee as much and have better BM's.

Its simple tried and tested, Drink lots of fresh water you should have minimum of 2 litre per day and I find if im hungry if I have a small bottle of water between meals and maybe an apple it sorts the problem out. It works trust me. Good luck.

you should really eat breakfast...if you want to skip a meal skip dinner.

and you will either need to drink more water and go to the bathroom more or eat high fiber things like leafy greens etc to fill you up with little to no calories.

if you are goign to starve yourself at least take vitamins. And again skipping dinner is smarter then skipping breakfast. the calories you don't use after dinner turn into fat over night. breakfast calories will be burned throughout the day.

U may get vegetable soup when u r hungry otherwise u may harm your stomach as it is producing acids & when it is empty it is harmful . But getting something with almost no calories & full of vitamins & minerals as well as fiber could be great to your health & even good for your skin ehen loosing weight.

you are MORE likly to PUT on weight for not eating breakfast, its simple- 3 healthy meals a day and exercise thats all it takes, so EAT!!!!!!!!!!

umm duh... if you;re hungry you need to eat.. there is no cure for this.. this is a very unhealthy wayto lose weight . you will make yourself sick or anorexic and end up in the hospital..

Most people associate being hungry with noises in their stomach or that so called 'hunger' feeling. It is just in your mind. Tell yourself you are not hungry. As long as you have something for your breakfast, lunch and dinner then this is all your body needs. Don't drink too much either, just a sip or two when that 'hunger' feeling gets the better of you, will do until your body gets used to its new routine.

Well, think of it this way.......if you deprive your body from the nutrients/fuel that it needs, it is not going to function well. What do you think that food is? It is our body's fuel source. Think of it this way, if you start out in the morning to go to work or school and don't put gas in your car, you're not going to go far if it's on empty, are you? The body is the same, don't fuel it for the day and it's not going very far. If you deprive your body from fuel, it will go into "reserve mode" that is what slows your metabolism down......your body thinks that you're starving it so, it slows down the rate that you are burning fuel, simply put. If we have a high metabolic rate, our body burns the "fuel" much faster, thus, weight loss. If we slow our body's fuel imput down, our metabolic rate lowers, lowering the rate at which we burn fuel. I know that you think that if you don't eat, how can you possibly gain weight? You might not gain weight, but you're not going to loose it as quickly, or feel good. Remember this, good skin, beautiful hair, a clear thinking brain.....they all need nutrients and that comes from your diet! If you deprive your body from the fuel that it needs. your skin will become dull, your hair lifeless etc etc. Look at the girls in your school that are very athletic, bet that they eat, they just know how and what to eat, that's all, Good luck, you'll be just fine.

hmmm, this is a tough one, if u havnt already, i would pop down to ure local doctors, or just eat, i always feel hungry if i dont eat, and I do something to take my mind off it, then I dont feel hungry.
Try watching ure favourite film or ure favourite channel on TV and see if that helps :)

You're always going to be hungry if you don't eat and yes you will put on more weight once you get back to reality. If you want to lose a few pounds exercise 30 minutes a day 3-5 times a week and eat 5 times a day. Breakfast is important because it jump starts your metabolism for the rest of the day. Really, you should stop this or seek help. Do you really want to put your family and friends through this stress?

Yea he's right.. try sugar free gum.. tea with splenda or coffee.

If you really are overweight you need to be strong. Even an obese person who begins to actually eat healthy, will feel hungry, even though they are clearly too big. Why? Well because the human body automatically stores extra weight, just in case (this would never happen nowadays) there is a famine or you are unable to reach food.

So in short, DON'T LISTEN to your stomach, listen to the facts and your head. Walk about 30 minutes a day, and eat the recommended calories for your height, minus 500. This will get you to the perfect weight.

Most people that eat breakfast do not gain weight so you would be better forcing yourself to start the day with a little food to keep your blood sugar up . I like to eat some porridge as it keeps me full until lunch time.

I dont eat much either but get hungry, jst take a sandwich to school and cut it in half, then at break eat you first sandich and then bout 2 hours later eat your second sandwich, when you get home from school, have a pint of water every hour or wenever you need a drink, it doesnt matter if you want to go to the loo cause your at home and water fills me up, i love it!! and its a gd diet lol, try to do 40 sit ups a nite aswel cause tht will tone you up and then you belly will be nice and toned! good luck =]

You are being really silly.

Not eating is really unhealthy, and youa lready know how silly it is.

The only way to stop being hungry is by EATING.
Try eating something wholemeal for breakfast (e.g. porridge) then you won't be hungry for ages as it releases energy slowly.

Try hoodia supplements. I have found that they keep me from getting hungry if i know i will miss a meal.
