That is easy. Don't buy junk food. If it is not in the house then you can't eat it can you? Buy healthy things instead and snack on those.

take up a new hobby so when you get bored you have something else to do other than eat.
and you don't have to completely cut out junk food from your diet, but if you make it through a week without it or something than you can reward yourself and have a little bit of junk food.
or when you want a snack eat something healthy that you like.

when you very happy you should just go to your near candy store and look for all your food and also try to buy it and when reach counter you just tell person you do not have any money he or she want give to you and you will find your right ans at that moment.

Have you got a hobby Honey? Sometimes if I feel like I need to pig out and I don't want to (usually due to boredom too) I get my cross stitch out or make some cards. You can't eat while you're doing that. It's worth a try. Or you could try the usual, cut up carrot sticks and keep em in the fridge for when you get bored.

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Snack on healthy foods.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

Hi,

Try using a reward system, that being, for every one hour of exercise you can buy one item of junk food.

Make this tougher as time goes by, by increasing the exercise to junk food ratio, before too long you will naturally want to stop eating the junk while craving the exercise.

Only one thing is more addictive than junk food and is a good work out.

well it depends on what you are eating, if you are craving something sweet, have a piece of fruit, fruit has natural sugars and tastes sweet, so, although it wont satisfy your craving for junk, it will satisfy your craving for a sweet taste!, after a while of doing that you will start to crave fruit instead!!!!, but only if you stick to it!

dont go to the supermarket, order your shopping on line and have it delivered, and dont order any junk food, just loads of fruit yogurt vegetable for snacks!

i have the same kinda problem... instead of eating the junk food just eat a meal instead so then you'll be full w/ no room for the junk food when you get bored... you could also buy healthier snacks that still taste good.

don't buy it or stop whoever does the shopping from buying it.
fill your fridge/cupboard with healthy stuff.
fruit, seeds & nuts to nibble on.
never eat at the computer.
make eating a serious affair, sit at the table, hopefully with others for company, chew your food for at least a minute then swallow.drink lots & lots of water through out the day, at least 8 glasses.
to stop eating junk food's easy, stop buying it!

Tell your mom not to buy them or don't buy them if you get the chance.

Instead of thinking of eating junk food, just go get yourself some carrots, Celery, apples, grapes, whatever fruits or vegetables you have.

Or drink healthy juice. =)

The best thing you can do is to count your calories. Simply keep a list of foods and calories and food you consume during the day. Then, if you snack, you can make a choice if the snack is really what you want.

If you have a weight problem, counting calories is still the best tactic.

Also, come up with a list of healthy foods that you like, and snack on those instead of junk.

and we use breakfast cereal as nibbles...

and learn to cook, from ingredients....

its far cheaper and so much better....

I'm the same, carry water and a good selection of real food wherever you go, Fruit and healthy sandwiches, I like Food Doctor edible seeds and dry roasted soya nuts. if you have good food with you, you're less likely to succumb to the junk food munchies!

That happens to everyone. But the best way I found to avoid it was to set a goal ONLY to eat when you're hungry. And when you are, just avoid buying junk food at all costs. Their are other healthier less fattenining foods that can fill you up. My favorite is an apple dipped in these little caramel dishes. Basically fruit is a good way to avoid junk food. Or just drink something when you're bored. Such as water and put in a little flavoring packet. It's good but also healthy and its water, so it wont be fattening.

Self control. Don't keep junk food in the house. Pick up other hobbies to keep yourself busy. Join a sport team, work out, volunteer your time to a worth while charity, etc.
