there's no such thing as localized weight loss (sucks I know) ... guess what tho, you already have those awesome abs .. its just that they're under layers .. so u have to lose the weight everywhere before u can get that stomach... and the best way to do that is cardio (that running ur doin will get u there in no time).
and once u have the flat stomach, if u want to have more defined abs, then u need to up ur sit-ups.

1 week won't do anygood.
keep up about 3~4 months, which would definately show results.
Also stretching helps alot too.

And yes... watch what you eat!

Cutting out carbs and sugar usually reduces the belly fat. And generally do more aerobic exercises to eliminate fat. You can't target where the fat will come off but if the first place you put on fat is usually the last place it will come off.

do at least 20 sit ups evry morning b4 u get out of bed and at least 20 b4 u go to sleep! i would shoot for 40-50 maybe even 60! i have the same probllem!

Everyone wants a six-pack and it is not hard to understand why it looks great on both girls and guys. The trick to a trim tummy is in the diet and cardio too don't over look either if you want to lose a few. Cut out the fried food, sugar and crap and you will have to run more then a lap.

The best means to an end is to keep up the cardio 30 minutes at least combine that with eating the right foods and you will tame the beast. Be patient and persistent and attend to your exercises daily and look at adding in some resistance training. People may say that’s alot, but its not because you get full more often than binge eating 3 meals a day. You get more satisfaction out of the 6 more frequent meals. You should also allow yourself a cheat day which should be a Saturday or Sunday to eat what you were craving during the week, but don’t over do it! During the off season I tend to bulk up so I do less cardio and more abdominal exercises but with weighted reps to strengthen and bulk up my abdominal region. CARDIO is a must if you want flatter stomach muscles. 20 minutes of regular cardio wont cut it, you need to maximize it up to 30-45 minutes or introduce a HIIT program when the body uses fat storage as a fuel and do this at least 4 times a week to. A sample cardio and abdominal workout that I use is:

*Doing sprints is the best workout for a core exercises because of the use of power from the abdominal region and also gets the body cut up, look at olympic sprinters and long distance runners, olympic sprinters have muscle mass and crazy abs, while long distance runners are skinny and have flat stomachs.

Sunday: 45 minutes run which is about 6 miles and the Abs which consists of: v-ups 3 sets of 8, bicycle crunches- 3 sets of 50, hanging leg raises- 4 sets of 15, decline sit ups- 4 sets of 50

Tuesday: 100 yard sprints 5 times, 50 yard sprints 5 times, 1/4 mile sprints under 90 seconds 5 times, strictly obliques such as twists, side bends and lateral crunches
Thursday: 45 minutes run, bicycle crunches- 3 sets of 50, hanging leg raises- 4 sets of 15, decline sit ups- 4 sets of 50, leg lifts- 25 reps 3 times.

Saturday: cardio can be done rollerblading, bicycling or even the elliptical machines in the gym. For abdominals pick and choose your favorite exercises and target the abs until failure.

You can do abs everyday until you turn red, but without the proper diet and cardio program you will never get rid of stomach fat and firm your abs. The best time to do cardio is on a empty stomach in the morning when your Testosterone levels are high and you have the most energy. Abs don't cost money so you don't need to go out and buy these gimmicks on TV that are sold at 3 in the morning. It is all hard work and the burning sensation. All you need is a mat, a bench and something to hang from to get great rock hard abs.

Eat lots of veggies and fruit...
8 glasses of water a day (this cleans you out and tones you up INSIDE).
avoid fatty foods and fried foods
Also high carbohydrate foods (potatoes, sweets cakes, etc)
Do you have a bike? If so take yourself an hours ride at least once a day...the faster you ride the more exercise for the tummy and rear end muscles...
Or walk, this will also help, take a brisk 1 hour walk every day, (running or jogging is more strenous and doesn't really help any better) Or do 2 half hour walks...less wear, and also same effect.
Do some sit-ups...
And though this may sound silly ... get yourself a hula hoop. It's great for the tummy and waistline!
Another thing... you don't say how old you are...if you're young enough to enjoy it DANCE!!!
It is one of the best exercises ever!

Ok here is your routine. Do 3 cardio workouts every week. Do not go more than two days between a workout. Start out at 1.5 miles if you are a beginner. Increase your mileage by .25 every week. Keep your pace easy/medium in the beginning (you should be able to talk while running). Towards the end of your run you want to pick it up a bit. Once you start getting into shape workout 4 times a week, then 5. The cardio will burn the fat in that area.

To tone your abs, you need to crunches and other ab workouts. it is pretty difficult do explain the types of crunches online. But women's magazines such as Self, Shape, Fitness, Glamour, and even Cosmopolitian offer some great workouts.

Here are some things to remember...weight loss cannot be localized therefore you cannot do one without the other, results take a while, DO NOT GIVE UP.

The new version won't be out for a couple of weeks, from what I can tell on their website, but it's definitely worth it in my humble opinion. Keep up running. Run for at least 30 minutes, or use an elliptical for at least 30 minutes, every day. As you get stronger, add distance and speed, or resistance if you're on a machine.

Cut out sodas, even diet sodas, and drink more (unsweetened only!) fruit juice and water.

I think running will do good.Try middle body exercises such as crunches.Also sit ups will help.Avoid fried stuff.Drink lots of water and feast on veggies and fruits!

The harsh reality is that the little tummy you speak of is genetic and is part of what makes you look feminine. Don't overdo it with trying to look like a supermodel. Keep in mind that many fashion designers are gay men and want their models to look like teenage boys. Real men like their women to look like women.
