Run like you've never ran before. If YOU REALLY WANTED TO GET SKINNY YOU WOULD EAT ONLY VEGGIES, CHICKEN BREAST, WHOLE WHEAT BREAD AND FRUITS IN SMALL PORTIONS. NOW GET YOUR BUTT OFF OF THIS COMPUTER CHAIR AND GET GOING. You're going to feel and look damn GOOD. CONFIDENCE ANd MOTIVATION. I lost 50 pounds. Nothing is going to get in my way. PATIENCE!!!

This is the way that worked the best for me:
cut the carbs
for like a month, i didnt eat any bread at all, and i lost like 7 pounds. if you cut other carbs and sugars, not only bread, you'll lose weight alot faster. I didnt even go to the gym or do any sports or have PE in school at the time, so 7lbs is pretty good for someone who didnt excercise. If you want to lose more, faster, make yourself an excercise routine, and STICK TO IT. if you keep skipping out on workouts, you wont see very good results. Another thing is, eat lots of protein, like eggs, Soy products, etc. those help fill you up faster and keep you full so you'll be hungry less.

I weigh 277 pounds and I wish I was a medically healthy 168.
Actually I wish I wasn't invisible to women. The weekend before Thanksgiving two women friends, both married, from college finally helped me stick to my diet.
Annette: "I put a picture of my father in law on the refrigerator door so my husband won't ever get fat like he is."
Dena: "Way back in college 18 years ago.... your table manners were disgusting, shoveling in food. (Trying to make the most of an hour between classes?) (17 years ago I had a broken heart over Dena, and listening to this I am getting the impression "not tonight I have a headache"), I always encouraged you to diet and exercise, I know it sounded a little harsh because someone said, 'hey, Chris is cool...')
Dena also related how after the birth of her second daughter and the lingering weight gain, how men stopped treating her so gentlemanly, stopped holding the door for her at places like the convenience store.
I was not the emotionally safest driver returning home Sunday.
That hurt.
But what can you do? This is the society we have. Dena studied social work and I studied sociology (me to M.A.). Where else are you going to go?
Note: I also have Asperger syndrome and stubborn multiple-drug-resistant depression, which are also relevant to relationship troubles.

3. Lose weight
a. exercise. I am a member of Gold's Gym. I have motivational issues even though the gym is directly across the street from the office, and both are walking distance from home. An office neighbor and nearby city resident/marketing director sometimes escorts me to the gym for mutual motivation, she is a woman, and that does help me a great deal.
b. diet. I have really lost the craving for a lot of "bad foods" since Thanksgiving. Exceptions have been Thanksgving, a Secret Santa party Dec. 19, and some bad behavior Dec. 25 and 26, but on all those occasions, I have managed to "spring back" to the same weight I was and lower in a matter of days.
c. fasting. Yes! On weekends I may not eat much at all. I also may not do much at all. I am starting to even possibly skip meals or delay them at the office too. I may skip dinner on work nights, deliberately go to bed hungry.
I have noticed weight loss all right:

ASK A DOCTOR. I am probably breaking quite a few rules but I am desperate. I think I asked my therapist tounge-in-cheek if anorexia could be a lifestyle choice. Or was it tounge in cheek?

start walking, even if it's just three blocks, you should do it everyday. And for desserts, only treat yourself on special occasions like holidays but limit yourself to only one.

There is no quick fix for this. Think of what you are eating before you eat it. A big help is to dramatically reduce your carbohydrate consumption . The means cut back on bread, pasta, cereals, rice, potatos, etc. When eating carbs, eat whole grain bread's, whole wheat pasta, brown or wild rice instead of white rice, etc. Smaller portions are key. You can fill up with lot's of green vegetables, steamed preferably, the greener the color the better. Eat fresh not canned fruits. Lean meats are important. If you eat chicken, do not eat it fried or eat the skin. Baked is best. If you drink milk, drink fat free, not 1 or 2%, cheese is laden with fat. Smaller portions can be eaten and are a good source of protien. Breakfast meats such as bacon and sausage should be avoided until you reach your desired weight, than eat them in smaller portions. Regular sodas are a major weight gainer. One 12 ounce can of regular pop has several tablespoons of sugar not to mention caffiene and the fact that they dehydrate you. Another source of heavy weight gain is eating sugary cereals, consuming sweets such as candy, donuts, etc.
Drink plenty of water, at least 8 glasses a day! All of this will not benefit you unless an excersise routine is implemented. Start off walking at a pace you are compfortable with than work your way up to jogging. Swimming is an excellent way to burn calories as well as riding a bike. Hitting a tennis ball against a back stop over a half hour a day, 5 x a week burns major calories. Most of all do this for yourself. You will lead a healthier life and feel better about yourself by taking control of the situation. Diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart problems are associated with obesity. At 13, you are entering an age that can be difficult when you are heavier. Your peers may tend to critisize and make fun of you. Just know anyone who acts in this way is not secure with themselves. I truly wish you great success. I was there at your age as well and changed my life at 13 by losing 28 pounds. I am now a personal trainer.

Eat small meals spaced out within the day. Eat breakfast (if you're body's a car, the first meal's the key that starts the engine: the later you start it, the less fuel you burn). Lessen carbs. Add a bit of caffeine, spice, milk (skim), and fiber to your diet. Exercise (a lot), especially between 4-6 p.m. (during P.E., with friends, at home by yourself, whenever). Be fidgety. Get off your bum and walk around every chance you get (like taking the stairs, choosing the longer way, walking short distances instead of riding a car). Same goes for the use of your other muscles. Limit TV, computer and video game use. Get lots of sleep (cutting back on sleep actually makes you fatter if other factors are still OK). Tighten your muscles every now and then when you're not using them (like your abs while you're doing homework, or your legs while on the bus). RUN!
I know it's supposed to be for a 13 year old, but I was thinking of new year's resolutions for myself and I got a bit carried away.
Remember, though, that "thin" doesn't mean "healthy," or even "attractive."

OK losing weight doesn't mean starvation .Stay away from cabs and fatty foods especially take aways , eat you protein and your vegetables,drink lots of water to replace lost fluids from the cab and drink mostly very cold water because your body has to burn your calories to warm up the water

stay away from carbs... basically white foods like white bread (or you could just eliminate bread all together-that includes pasta too!), no white rice, no potatos... everything you eat should be grilled. cut down on portions- you shouldnt starve yourself but you shouldnt over stuff either. don't just eat because you are bored, eat because you are hungry and your body needs the sustenance! exercise. if you have a dog, run with your dog or at least start by walking. NO DESSERTS. drink lots of water- no soft drinks, drink water witih your meals or gatorade if you are about to go for a jog. so... happy losing!

Eat very healthy foods
like fruit, veggies, meat, etc.
Avoid lots of ice cream, cake, cookies, etc.
Our bodies NEED sugar and salt, so you can still have some sugar and salt.
AVOID coke, pepsi, or pops like that.
Drink water, milk, and fruit drinks.
And please,please,please DO NOT starve yourself.
Any physical activity like running, basketball, soccer, etc. is good for you and helps you loose weight.

You don't want to do it fast. That is bad for your health and you. It doesn't do any good to be skinny but in poor health. Watch what you eat. Use portion control. (Check the Discovery health body challenge going on now) Remember, you should aim for a loss of about 2 lbs. a week.
