for those who want to lose weight on their stomach, try sit ups!
my experience"
i started off from 25 sit ups(everyday) and then i set a goal for myself to go 50, then 100, 200, and 500 sit ups! it worked for me! took me three months! but hey! it's worth it! it takes time to lose weight! i also sized down my meal, too and it helped a lot. besides that i ate a lot of salad. first i didnt like it, but i forced myself to eat, so now i LOVE salad!
you should try it, too! remember, everything takes time!

well.. start walking for 30 minutes, every day, after you be comfortable try to jogging very light ... and walking in between... when you feel that you be tired or can brief. walk until you feel better again... don't do exercise if you feel pain.. stop and do it next time.. but no be confuse for muscle pain... that mean your body is working... but take one step at a time... lose weight take time.. so no be disappointed if you no see result... still trying.. if you felt .. continue trying... is what count in the end...
good luck

If the person is really overweight, walking is ideal. When a person first wants to lose weight, the best way is to work out vigorously and then after they reach their weight loss goal, they can slow down the pace to maintain the weight loss.
In reality, any exercise the person will enjoy/tolerate and actually do, is the one to go for.

the best thing to do before exercising is to get on a strict diet and then slowly start out with walking. you also need to find someone to do this with you. someone there for encouragement, to help pick you up when you fall or get discouraged. good luck and god bless!

Anything that uses your large muscle groups. Squats, weights anything that you can do. If you have a machine to lift weights with your legs, that's good. Muscle burns fat and boosts your metabolism. You can also do push-ups on the wall. What ever you enjoy for cardio, dancing walking, swimming. Start slowly and work your way up with the cardio. If your interested in a nutritional program check out http://www.cinchplan.com/daydesigns Good luck!

Start with walking. Get a pedometer to measure your steps and track your miles. Start with 20-30 mins and work your way to longer times. The key is sticking with it.

Walking is a great way to start getting in shape. Try varying your routine by listen to peppy music and, as you make progress, start using hand weights to boost the workout. If you have access to a pool, you can also try water aerobics - great for strengthening muscles and cardio system without overloading your joints....
Good luck!

Hey Bro. I used to be overweight but I've managed to work it off and keep it off for 2 years now. What I did may not work for you but it did for me. I started off by walking a little bit every night and lifting weights for 20 minutes a day. It really didn't take very long but after I cut out all the crap in my diet and kept lifting weights and walking I lost about 25 pounds in 2 months and I felt great. I had muscles I never even knew I had and everyone kept telling me how they couldn't believe what a transformation I went through. I guess this makes sense because the 25 pounds I lost was probably more like 50 pounds of fat and a gain of 25 pounds of muscle.
Good luck!
