Do some sit-ups and your tummy will be flat. As for your weight I do not have a chart and it depends on your build. Just do not get too interested in weight loss like some of these people who get in trouble trying to look like a model. - Those one who look like skeletons; that's ugly.

body fat content is more important than the ratio of your weight to your height. 17%-20% is the norm for women, 12-15% for men. It sounds as though you have a healthy weight for your height. Doing sit-ups, push-ups and cardio workouts will really help to tone your abs. Good luck!

Technically your BMI is 21.5 so you are "normal". However it pretty much depends on your bone frame and your body composition. If your bone frame is small, then you have more non-bone weight. So people with small bone frame need to weight less, while people with large bone frame need to weight more.
At any rate you need to know your body composition. If your fat percentage is around 20%, your weight is due to muscle, so you are ok. If your percentage is higher, then your weight is due to fat, and you need to lose some.
Since you speak about flattening your stomach I gather you probably don't have a lot of muscle. Therefore I'd say, do some cardio to lose fat, and some weights to put on muscle (no matter if you end up heavier as long as you lost fat and gained muscle!).
Also, don't forget a proper way of eating.
Good luck!

pretty much in the middle. I'm going to be 11 and I'm 5'5 and weigh 110 pounds. So I say you could lose about I'd say 10 pounds and you'd be fine.

you're fine. but you could afford to loose about 5 pounds. but if it's hard for you to lose weight, then don't fret. as long as you don't gain any more weight, you're fine.

no, you are not overweight. It sounds just about right. The only way to get your stomach flat is to work your abs. Try sit ups or crunches.

Ur weight is fine. If u really want to loose weight though, don't loose more than 5-10 pounds. And don't try the whole starving/puking thing. It doesn't work cus as soon as u stop (and u'll have to eventually) the weight will all come back.
Try sit-ups, and some time of aerobic exercise (like jogging, or jump rope) to get ur stomach flatter.
Also (even though this might sound a little mean) spend a day with someone who is bigger than u. It helps.

I think your weight is normal for your height. Because fat "belongs" to the whole body, the only way I know to lose abdominal fat is aerobic exercise, although you could tighten your abs by doing crunch-type exercises.
Reduce the fat in your diet if you want to firm up.
But your size sounds normal. In fact, fuller women can look very voluptuous.

thats kinda werid since I'm 5.4 and weigh 125 lbs. I dont consider myself overweight, but I'm trying to lose a bitt. Right now I'm just trying to eat as healthy as possible and do a lot of crunches and ab work-outs. By just exersizing(sp?) every day, you can lose weight. also drink a lot of water, that'll make you feel like you dont need to eat as much and its good for you. However; dont get obsessed with losing weight. Where you are right now is preety normal for a growing teenager, like me, hehe.

it all depends on which critic you ask, but if you want to lose a few pounds just eat a little less than you are right now for a few weeks , if you lose more than 13 or 14 lbs your elbows will start to stick out, you probably look fine do what makes you happy

This has worked for me:
-Run at least a half hour every day
-Eat until you are satisfied, not until you are full
-Eat low fat and low calorie items
-Pilates can make your stomach flatter. Crunches too.

No, that is not overweight. That's the right weight for your height. If you want a flatter stomach, do sit-ups. Just don't go on any weird diets, losing weight isn't worth ruining your health.

Not overweight, but it sounds like you might want to tone up a bit. Try running or bicycling or some other kind of cardio, and crunches.
When you do crunches, make sure that you exhale when you come up and inhale when you go back down, sucking in your lower stomach the whole time...
Do 25 straight crunches, 25 to the left, and 25 to the right
Repeat 3 x daily
