The same as an adult. Some say 60 - 100, others 60 - 120. In order for it to be accurate, it has to be taken first thing in the morning before he eats.

In UK on our blood sugar monitors a normal person is between 4 - 6, but diabetic nurse usually keeps people around 8-10
