Question is pretty vague. Assuming you mean foods a diabetic can eat, you want to minimize the insulin response to the blood stream and minimize stress on the pancreas.

Avoid carbohydrates is the easiest way to put it. Limit yourself to no more than 20-30 carbs A DAY for the first few weeks to a month. Avoid sugar, candy, chips, white bread, crackers, pasta, soft drinks, etc. This will allow the body to begin to heal, lowering insulin response, lowering blood glucose levels, lowering "bad" eicosanoids, and raising good eicosanoids.

Not sure exactly what you mean but for the most part any food that is low or no carbohydrate would be good. Sugars and complex carbohydrates should be avoided. Use artificial sweeteners such as Splenda, or Equal. Eat lean meat (preferably more chicken than beef) and fish. Ask your doctor for a recommended daily carb limit (in grams) and read the food labels. All processed food in the US lists the carbohydrate grams.

I work for a Diabetes education program with a major hospital system in Cleveland, Ohio. There are many great resources available to diabetic patients.

The most effective way to keep blood sugar in check is to avoid foods that are made with added sugar—soda, some fruit juices, baked goods. You can eliminate those entirely. As for foods that contain high amounts of starch—pasta, rice, potatoes, bread, or any other flour-based food—we'll admit they're delicious, and they can also provide vitamins and fiber. You should limit yourself to 30 to 40 grams (g) of total carbohydrates at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and 10 to 20 g at any given snack. (Check labels.)

Here you will find many guides to help you with carbohydrate counting, a Food Guide and a Delicious Desserts cook booklet.

I hope that this is able to help you some...

Given below are a list of food diabetic can eat. The list is breakdown in to three basic food groups mainly carbohydrate, fats and protein.

Carbohydrate:

During the digestive process carbohydrates are broken down into the simplest forms of sugar and glycaemic index measures how quickly the breakdown process will take place and so how fast the levels of sugar in blood rise. A high glycaemic index will cause blood sugar level to raise quickly thus making it more likely to develop insulin resistant, high blood pressure and diabetes. Diabetics can eat all foods, but IN MODERATION! You really should see a dietician for a better idea of what is good and what is not. To state is simply, keep your carb intake down, avoid obvious sugars (candy, regular soda, ice cream,cakes...) and eat more vegetables and meat.

There is no such thing as a diabetic food.
People with diabetes can eat most anything they like.
You need to learn to count carbs, watch portion control, exercise and take your medications.
Educate yourself and maybe take a diabetes ed class.
Join a support group and make new friends.
With the help of a good endocrinologist, you will learn how to control your sugar levels.
I wish you the best.
