Why is someone with bad breath the last to know?

just wondering	The breath from your mouth doesn't go up your nose like it will to everyone you talk to or breath on!

Brooklynn	That is so true i agree with you. but i think that person don't brush his teeth or can't smell ,or don't have any real friend because i will tell my friend if he or she need to go brush their teeth, or that person don't care, i always thought the same thing when talking to someone with BAD BREATH.

tysonvargas	hi. becuz they get use to it and they don't smell it anymore. even people with BO like my teacher. we tell him he smells really bad but he says he dosen't. they just get use to it. sick but ture :)

songabay	the person might not realise it because he or she cannot smell his own breath. however some do but they ignore the fact that they have bad breath and they blame the food they eat. regular cleaning of teeth will prevent all this embarrassment

teena9	More than likelly, it is because they are used to it and can't smell it anymore. Sometimes, when you are embarrassed about something, as a defence mechanism, you convince yourself that you are just being paranoid and other people don't notice the thing you are hung up about. On the other hand, maybe they do know how bad it is and have tried everything, but nothing works so they have just given up!

CyDog	That is correct, it's under your nose, if the bad breath happens in a gradual manner, you loose the sensitivity to that smell, same as if you step into a room that smells like tobacco, at first you get it, but you get used to is gradually until you don't smell it anymore

billizmel	Beacause everyone around that person is afraid for some odd reason to tell that person. Someone should be honest, maybe a good, long time friend. It's like what if they or you had something on the face, food, a buggar? You do the math.
