u might have a cavity. do u go to the dentist regularly or u may just have sensative teeth. i have that problem, anything real cold makes my teeth ache. and there are few times it doesnt bother me so that could just be ur problem.

you feel that severe pain because everyone has a protection that protects it from temperature. when you have poor oral hygiene, or other things your teeth starts to lose that protection.
I for those reasons they have tooth pastes that fix that problem in about 2 weeks. they normally work until you stop using them. Sensodyne is recommended. hope it helped

You might have a cavity or you might just be becoming sensitive to certain things are they hot or cold??? if its cold try using a numbing gel before you eat and if its hot use the same thing. but I would go to the dentist because you might also have a nerve problem.

It must be due to a cavity. Only a good dentist can solve this.

You may have a cavity and need to get it filled by the dentist. You may also just have sensitive teeth or enamel and require a milder tooth paste. Examine the tooth in a mirror.

Good luck

poor me, i was sensitive to hot and cold, but now the only thing that causes me pain is when i crunch ice with my back teeth, as i have a metal filling in one.

if this doesnt work, maybe u do have a cavity?...does it urt when eating sweet things like chocolate, if so, u probably do have a cavity :(

You must have very sensitive teeth. Avoid eating very cold things, and brush with a toothpaste that helps improve sensitive teeth.

two things:

1) sensodyne toothpaste
2) if one doesn't work then see your dentist for a prescribed toothpaste that may work better for you.

I have it and nothing has resolved it. You may also try switching to an electric toothbrush to avoid over brushing, as over brushing with a manual tooth brush wears down the enamel and cause the teeth to be over sensitive.
