i think you should brush first because you remove all the food-pieces and such first, and then you use listerine to polish it off, which helps protect your teeth for up to 12 hours. Using listerine first doesn't achieve that 12-hour effect.

As a M.D. you should brush to reduce the amount of plaque that could on your teeth and it also gets all the bacteria off of your tongue. While Mouthwash will get places that the brush was unable to also killing any bad breath bacteria. So... FLOSS, BRUSH, MOUTHWASH

Listerine first apperently there is a chemical in Mouthwash that doesn't make the smell last long so listerine then brush or brush then listerine and then a lite brush afterwards to keep fresh breath
