Yes. They have degrees in dental medicine. They have to be able to perform procedures so they need to have a degree and a license to practice medicine. |

Well yes and no, Yes in the sense that they received their doctorate, and in the sense that they can prescribe medications. But no they are not a "MD" or Medical Doctor |
