Nati	*pink and light blue are cute colors NEVER get white or clear bands cause white looks like food is stuck in ur braces and clear like it u eat ketchup or a lollipop or somethin, they stain they put the bands, and then every time u go back u get to choose new colors k i have gotton em on over 6 times (dont ask!) it doesnt hurt dont worry-it is just a long process and it tastes kinda bad they give u a band on ur molars fiist, to see ur size and stuff first theu put this positioner thing is ur mouth, it makes your mouth stretch a lkot so they can see ur teeth, it will bother u for a minute or 2 but u will get used to it, u keep that thing on the WHOLE time then there are these things that look like shots and stuff, i got really freaked out when i first saw them but actually, they dont go in ur mouth! this is the cement that they put on ur braces then they stick the braces on ur teeth the cement kinda tastes bad! then they will put the rubber bands on ur braces with things that look like sisscors (they dont hurt) after that they put the wire-this is the most anoying part cause after they slip it in ur mouth, they have to cut it to make it fit right then that is it!Ur done but after u do it, ask ur doctor for dental wax, and rubber cover up when u get home use ACT Mouthwash and for the first hour, ur teeth may be a little numb so drink mainly fluids-clear fluids then for the first day or 2 ur teeth may be a little sensitive so stick with eating soup, pasta, and soft foods-avoid straws every night use Peroxyl Mouthwash for like a week to keep ur gums storng from cuts and use dental wax and rubber coverups so u wont get blisters, they hurt a little but arent that bad. avoid sleeping on ur side, try to keep ur head straight up for a couple of days every morning and every night use the Peroxyl Mouthwash again for 2 weeks then after that just use ACT Mouthwash to keep ur teeth and gum s healthy. get some Super floss, made for braces-i sugest elictrical toothbrushes they keep ur mouth cleaner dont worry-trust me- i have had my braces on for almost 4 years, i am gettin em off on July 3-my friend says it acutally hurts more to get em off so yea Was this answer helpful to you? 0carina	Don't be afraid, it doesn't hurt getting them on. I suggest getting glow in the dark braces! They're awesome! But after you get your braces, you can't eat solid food for a while because you won't be used to your new braces. Eat soup with no hard vegetables like carrots. PDoG	Putting on braces on your teeth does not hurt at all. What really hurts is when the doctor tightens your wire across your braces. Your teeth will be sore for about 3 days. So don't be scared when your at the ortho getting your braces on. Oh, and I always got Silver or clear because it was less noticeable. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

damo_mc_legend	Depending on your dentist you may or may not have a bad time when you get them adjusted. Elastics are a pain in the @ss, and so is the f*cking headgear (you may not need it). As for colour, plain. Believe me, it might seem cool to have a different colour at first but you'll regret it in the long run. You'll be in pain when you eat for the first few days and you'll talk funny for a while but within a week you'll forget you have them. And that's it. Nothing to be scared of. BlameMe	braces aren't as bad as you think. You will be a little sore, but it will settle fast. I wore braces for 4 years. Smiling will be the toughest part once you first get them on. Don't try to smile to big...it will feel a bit different. Other than that, no problem. As for color...go with something plain. Nothing bright. My favorite color is orange and I made the mistake of getting orange bands and it always looked like my teeth were stained yellow. chrissy	im getting mine on tomorrow and am really scared 2 but good news.....they dont really hurt. the whole procces u can bearly feel...bad news....they do kinda hurt afta a couple hors and when u get them tightened they hutr a little becuase there is new pressure on ur treeth but it only takes a couple of days to go away....good luck and my colors are gonna be light grreen and light blue Was this answer helpful to you? ♥me♥	it's not that bad i fell asleep while i got mine on. the worst part is afterwards when your teeth hurt. u should definately get clear braces. i've had mine for six months and some people are barely noticing that i have them on!! lol Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Unknown	When i got braces I didnt get colors. I am so surprised they have colors now. Just get whatever is your favorite or one that doesnt look too obvious. Dont be scared. Once they are put on you will feel fine for about an hour. Then they will start to hurt, a lot. So eat soup. Then after a few days the pain will go away (take some Tylenol if your teeth are really sore). Then every time you go back to get your braces rewired they will hurt again like you just got braces on again. It isnt horrible pain. Just soreness. Kinda like stubbing your big toe. It hurts but not enough to cause you to cry. Many people have braces every year. You arent alone. And your smile will improve and braces are worth it. Sarah Mc	dont be scared, i had braces when i was 14/15 and its nothing to be scared of! Dont eat chewing gum with them in, but eat banana it really helps with the little pain you get! Also get some teething gel for when you first get them in as you may get some small blisters on the inside of your mouth! Whatever you do try to stay with all one colour, dont do the whole multi-colour thing, it looks tacky! for a girly pink looks really nice and for a guy its blue or black, but you just have to think of your fave colour and ask for that! except yellow, then your teeth look dirty!! littlechick	been there...done that. there is nothing to worry about, before you know it the whole deal will be over with and you'll have a great teeth forever! lol...just be sure and take care not to eat what the dentist says, its more trouble to have them fixed than to just avoid what they say. as for color, whatever color you wear most often.... desgard	There's really not much to worry about. It's painful, as much as it is simply uncomfortable and awkward for a while. You quickly get used to it. It helps to enjoy mashed potatoes. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

DALLAS	yeah take a lot of Advil because your teeth are going to hurt really bad for the first 3 or 4 days. and get a lot of wax from your orthodontist because if you don't your braces will tear up the inside of your mouth real bad. but that's just the first few weeks. SvnaSplit	Dont be scared! I wont lie its going to hurt for a while. You wont be able to eat all of your favorite foods because your mouth is going to be sore. But with all the technology they have today its not that bad! I dont have any advice on the color just make sure its not glow-in-the-dark, that'll make your teeth yellow!
