My teeth are stained, I dont smoke, drink tea or coffee etc. My dentist reckons I had too much flouride as a kid. Maybe you are getting too much now. But definately get it checked out with your dentist but dont worry you can always have bleaching at some point if it doesnt go away. Im having in now and its working wonders. Good luck xx

Do you have an inhaler? Some medicine used in inhalers can cause staining on your teeth. Some of the staining may be from the glue of your braces as well. The person to ask this question of would be your dentist, or the orthodontist that sees you.
And just so we are on the same page properly brushing means at least twice a day and for 2 to 3 minutes each time.

Don't fret quite yet. Just wait until your braces off and then you can either have them whitened by your dentist or you can do it your self by using whitestrips or a mouth gaurd type filling. Continue to brush them and floss normally, and schedule a cleaning with your dentist. They can clean them with braces.

I had the same problem. Turned it out it was cos of some medicine i had when i was a wee kid and i had to get veneers on them (the teeth filed down and then bits stuck on). Ask your dentist.

Honestly, I whitened my teeth with braces on anyways. Once I got them off, I whitened them some more and now my teeth are as white as the snow. Just get some kind of teeth whitening stuff that has a brush so you can get in between your braces.

if you really have a brace then your dentist will be monitoring you, and if you did not clean properly then he would not have given you brace in first place bcoz of staining

have you taken a medicine such as Tetracycline? That can cause this. I would talk to a dentist. When you are 18 or older, there are treatments to whiten teeth which no reputable dentist will use until you are that old.

the problem is not what you eat or don't eat, the problem is lack of Calcium, start drinking a full cup of milk at nights or take Calcium supplements and use whitening toothpaste!!

If you smoke, drink any soda with a lot of caffeine in it, or dink coffee or strong tea with caffeine in it this will cause the yellowing of your teeth.
I had retainers and never had any problems with my teeth turning yellow. My daughters had braces and they never had this problem.
Rinse you mouth out with water and peroxide every day and brush after every meal. best I can help you with.
Otherwise go see your dentist.

i am assuming 2 things, firstly that you don't smoke, and secondly that you have never been given Tetracycline antibiotics, which can permanently stain teeth.
If so this is merely tartar. It will be difficult to clear with your b race in place so get mum to get you an appointment withe the dental hygienist who should be able to fix it.

It might be Calcium deficiantcy so try to eat more dairy products. If this doens't work try brushing your teeth like you would normally but with bicarbonate of soda (the stuff that makes cake rise) you can buy it from any supermarket. It whitens your teeth and gets rid of stains, it doesn't thin your teeth and it is really good. Once you take your brace off carry on using it to get them the same whiteness. It tastes disgusting but its woirth it and afetr you can always give your teeth another scrub with tooth paste for the freshness.

See your dentist to have your teeth cleaned. Then keep them white by drinking ANYTHING from a straw with the exceptions of clear water. And of course proper cleaning as you say you already do.

That happened to me too. I have braces and I couldn't whiten them and I needed a toothpaste that would help with my teeth because they are really sensitive. My mom works for a dentist and she ended up buying a big box of crest pro health toothpaste because of how cheap it would cost her and of how it was sapposed to work. It has helped whiten my teeth and my teeth sensitivity and it makes my teeth really clean! It is sapposed to be really good for your teeth I think that would probably help you with your problem.
