Well I used to have stitches in my foot and I was worried about the same thing. I gave it a little time and soon they dissolved. But dont expect them to just disapper it takes time so be patient and they will go away. If not I would suggest you go back to the surgen that put them in and tell him to take them out. Mine didnt really dissolve completley so I went back to the hospital and they took them right out in less than 2 minutes. O but taking them out involves scissors but it doesnt hurt what so ever. The scissors practiclly dont even touch you and it actually tickles. But I havent had stitches in my mouth but I bet they will dissolve within a few days just try not to go too insane and remove them yourself. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!!!!!!!!!

It will take a while, just let it go normally. If anything else, call them, but just wait it out.
I went through this about 4 1/2 years ago and couldn't stand not opening my mouth all the way ... so I RIPPED the stitch by opening my mouth wide one morning to yawn and now I have a chunky piece of cheek from it.

yeah you have nothing to worry about mine were completely gone after 15 nights. Just wait for another week. Try not to fiddle with them though, it'll make your wound sore.

Haha! It takes more than 10 days. I was able to eat just fine, but it does drive you nuts. Mine were taken out last year around this time. Think of it as a really long cold/flu. Yes, your stitches will go away very soon. But, your mouth is going to hurt. Go back and get more vicadin and pain killers.

maybe the reason they haven't disolved yet is because your mouth is still healing?? i don't know just give it time, it took me an entire month to look normal and even longer to be able to eat properly. good luck :)

They may not dissolve and need to be removed. Talk to your dentist.

I think mine took at least the full 10 days to dissolve. Don't worry, it should be any time now. If you had a lot of swelling and/or bruising, it could be another couple of weeks before you're completely back to normal.

Hang in there. Takes longer if your a sweet person. No really. Your PH levels are not dissolving them as fast. I know the taste is a major bug. Your body will do its job. Relax.
