There is something you buy called "Goo Gone". Try Wal-mart for it. It will take it right off!

Apparently you can get a spray that does it ( they usually have some in the office at our local school) Otherwise hold ice on it until it goes hard and then pick it off.

Freeze it and chip it off. It will take many freezings for the layers. Whatever you do, DO NOT put any oils or anything on the dress, it will leave a permanent stain and will ruin the dress.

Warm vinegar in the microwave them pour on the gum. Wait a minute or two then gently scrape the gum off with a butter knife. Repeat. The key here is that the vinegar must be warm to hot.

peanut butter sometimes works...also ice supposedly does...peanut butter will work in air...if it is the oil in the peanut butter...maybe other oils would work...you can also try heating it...I've used curling iron even...just be careful not to burn dress...
hope this helps!

Try freezing the gum with ice until it gets hard, and should peel off, unless its completely smeared into the fabric... it thats the case then I'm not real sure... I would suggest GOO-Gone, but its very oily, and may leave grease stains in the fabric!
