You shouldn't wait for it to get worse. If the decay (cavity) becomes too deep you can get an abscessed tooth (infection). This happens when the nerve dies and it is VERY painful. If this happens most dentist will put you on an antibiotic to get rid of the infection before they will pull the tooth. With an infected tooth you won't numb very well.

If you have a Whole you Have to Get the Tooth removed before it Spreads.I had my tooth shaved down more and More until I just ended up removing it.Trust me its worth removing it in the Beginning...

I would recommend seeing your Dentist straight away, they'll probably give you a filling, don't wait it out.

The dentist doesn't have to take it out. The dentist may be able to repair it -- that's his job!
If you are experiencing pain or worry that the hole can invite food particles and therefore get infected -- go see a dentist and have it repaired.
Then you won't have to worry any more.

You should see a dentist right away. Depending on the situation and condition your dentist may be able to clean it out and put a filling in. If you leave it the way it is food and bacteria will get stuck in the hole...you'll get a huge cavity...and most likely lose the tooth or have to get a root canal which is not pleasant. good luck

Takes out what? The tooth, the hole? Don't wait. See the dentist now. It may well be something that can be fixed. No reason to lose a tooth. You only get one chance with your teeth. Don't blow it. Take care of them.

its would need to be plenty bad before he would take the tooth the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth.. why not just go get it drilled and filled? if its on a showing part of the tooth you can have them fill it with white filling instead of the regular silver amalgam.

Get immediate dental prescription from your dentist. You should not let that single whole scatter to the rest of your teeth. Most SEVERE DENTAL PROBLEMS usually start in simple bad cavity that leads to teeth holes, but this could actually threaten your health. Before it's too late, get dental health care advices and solutions at http://www.themouthdoctor.com/dentalhealthcare/dentalhealthcare.htm and free yourself from the dangers of dental problems.

The dentist should be willing to take the tooth out if that is what you want, but depending on how big of a hole it is they might be willing to just fix it for you and that would probably work better...I would definitely go to a dentist either way though, letting something like that go unfixed can cause some major problems, not only in your mouth. Realize that when you have a whole like that that it gives access to germs, etc. through that one whole in your tooth the germs have easy access to your blood stream..not think about what kinda damage that can do to your body once the germs get in your blood stream...Definitely set up some kinda appointment with a dentist asap.
