Yes, although I did not have get seven teeth pulled.... only four. I wish they would have taken more though. I wore braces for five years. I have had them off for 15 years now and my teeth are shifting again. My mouth is too small I guess. Good Luck. It will be worth it in the end,.

I have braces now, and i only had to have one tooth pulled out. I wasn't in too much pain because of the numbing. but you feel big in the mouth for a while afterwards. 7 teeth tho? that's a lot. good luck! and im sure you'll love your smile once it's all over.

Yes, I've pulled 4. Close your eyes and try to relax. It shouldn't hurt but you might feel pressure when the doctor is trying to pull it out. But no pain. If you do, tell them and get more numbing med. Good luck!

Believe me!!!! I have experienced the EXACT same thing before my braces!!! Get used to eating spagettios for awhile. But don't worry to much about it the only thing that is bad is the shots you'll get about 10-13 of them. The shots didn't bother me much. But they let you squeeze there hands really hard!! It is really funny!!!! You will probably do fine if you aren't bothered by shots!!! Good Luck!!!!

yeah, I got six teeth pulled at once. It wasn't that bad, but, I know this sounds weird, but don't look down or lower your chin, because for the rest of the day blood would spill out when I did that.

God yes, I've gotten at least 13 pulled 9i think) at ages 7, 9, and 14 (i forgot, they gave me so much stuff, I forget). It isn't that bad, they will try to put you to sleep (didn't work my first 3 times, I took naps on the way there, as you can guess, I was a bit traumatized). Don't worry, though. Worst that will happen is you'll feel a little pain (take Aleve) and you'll miss a day or two or three of school.

I had to have 4 teeth pulled out before they gave me braces. It didn't hurt and is a routine procedure. In the end it is all worth it because you end up with a beautiful smile.

I know people who have and they have to wear their braces for a very long time to fill in the space. Don't worry about it because in the end, you'll have a better smile.

sorry, I only had 6 pulled....I furnished my own anesthesia about halfway though (I passed out). Nowadays they will at least give you some gas and some dope to knock you out before they pull the teeth.

Haha yeah like one year ago. My dentist had to make my mouth all numb to pull my teeth out( i had to take out 8 cause my mouth was too small haha) it was a little bit painful for me but in the end it'll all be okay. And when you get braces they tighten the wire so it'll hurt when you eat. So expect a little pain.

Yeah, I've had wisdom teeth and some other teeth pulled out three separate times in my life. I've had a local anesthetic once and general both times. I had the local when I was eight or nine and it really wasn't a big deal. Just have a lot of pudding to eat once the operation is done, take the pain killers as recommended, and take it easy for three or four days.

My daughter needs braces, and the dentist suggested that we have a few teeth pulled, but the orthodontist we went to see is going to widen her jaw instead and keep all of the teeth.....

Yes actually I have
6 to be exact. It isnt as bad as you would think.
This is what happens. You go in the the office, sit in the chair with big lights shinning on you, they put this mask on you and tell you to count to 100. By the time you are at 3 you are old cold. You wake up with about 20 cotton pad things stuffed in your mouth. You are very groggy and need to be helped to the car. They give you some VERY GOOD pain killers that keep you out of it for a couple of days. Well if you take them that is. You cant really eat any hard foods for awhile. I dont know how old you are, so either have your parents buy pudding and other soft food or buy it yourself if you are an adult.
What else....then you feel better in about 5 days. I think I covered everything, but if you have any other questions just "add details" and I will try and check back.
Good luck
