Anything with sugar can. We were told by the dentist that even milk can rot your teeth. (Bottle rot in young children is caused by milk and juices.) Mountain Dew can also soften the enamel on your teeth. Just be sure to brush and floss your teeth twice a day.

All soda can "rot" your teeth - although mostly they stain and pit your teeth. Almost any liquid can rot anything eventually (like water "rotted" out the beautiful Grand Canyon).
My dental hygienest, every cleaning, says "Stop drinking Diet Pepsi, it's staining your teeth" (not as bad as smoking, but it ain't pretty).

Yes it will rot your teeth very quickly. My dentist said that it's because of the constant sipping of the sugary drink.Drinking soda or any sugar drink daily will eventually lead to very expensive dental bills(in the thousands)and more pain than you can imagine.Did I mention that in most areas there are no public assistance programs for dental problems. And the pain/fevers will make it almost impossible to work.

Soda is one of the main causes of tooth decay in this enlightened day and age. Kids(teenagers and adults, too) drink it by the gallons and are not thinking of the damage they are doing to the only permanent teeth they will ever have! Even diet soda is bad for your teeth.

Mountain Dew is no different from any other carbonated soft drink. They contain sugar, and if you drink them and don't brush your teeth after, or at least rinse your mouth out with water, yes, you increase the possibility of dental caries.
