elmafuddyesmate	I've never had braces but if it helps, Maranda on Sex & the City had braces and she was about 35 in that episode! I think if it bothers you then fix it now rather than later. carly sue	it depends on how bad the gap bothers you. i had one when i was young and had brace put on my 2 front teeth and i think it made a world of difference. look at modonna she has a gap and it doesn't seem to bother her. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

ANONYMUS	Absolutely worth it. Just think all thoughout high school you wont have to worrry about that gap because the braces will be off by the time you 15 or 16 depending on how big the gap is. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

I say that 14-16 is a good age limit for getting braces. b/c if you get them to young they can go back to the way they are but if you get them around the age limit I said a take good care of your teeth and wear the retainer after. They will look gorgeous. My 3 older sibling got them around 16 years olld. And all of them have gorgeous teeth. I am kinda jealous. odmayhea611	It is only worth it if you are really going to wear your retainer the full time you are supposed to. Otherwise, your teeth will shift really quickly and all that time and pain will be wasted. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

♥ Lala	I was 14 when I got them on. I was really upset becasue almost everyone was getting them OFF. I havent gotten them off yet, but from the year or so long i've had them, they have made a huge difference. I would go for it, that way ou dont regret it when you are older. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!! Nina[Team Pop-Tart!]	i just got my braces on today and i am 14 too (but, i am turning 15 in sept.). i am in some pain but, i know the next few days are going to be more painful. i have had low self-esteem for awhile and even now i still do. i can't see the difference yet cause i just got them on but, in a few days (for sure within a week) i will see a difference. its weird cause i am not use to it. but, i know i will start feeling more confident especially once i get them off. i only have to wear mine, the most for two years (maybe even off sooner). i know some people who wore them for 4 years. be careful about invisalign cause sometimes it doesn't work and then u have to get actually braces and pay more. invisalign only works in some cases so u'll need to talk to ur orthodontist. good luck! it will be very worth it in the end!
