They will numb your mouth and that takes several hours to wear off which is plenty of time to fill the prescription for the good stuff that they will give you for pain!! ;) Good luck!! TIM'S HOUSE	We don't recommend anything because if you do it can cause more bleeding. If you are going to your dentist it's a piece of cake because we won't take out a tooth that is too involved. You will feel a little pressure and will have to bite on gauze for 20-30 minutes if there is bleeding. We have taken out teeth where there wasn't any need to bite down on gauze, so don't get too worked up you are going to defeat yourself. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No
