I'm sad to say that from my personal experience with my father, they are not good. Every situation is slightly different, but once the other organs start to go it signals the beginning of the end. This is very difficult. Just be there for him. Prayers to you and your family.

Slim to none. I had a patient in that condition who had miraculous recovery on steroids, temporarily.

If you have liver cancer you have virtually no chance of survival. The fact that he has renal failure too suggest that his body is starting to shut down. His body has had enough.

Give him love and kindness and support.
He needs this as does the people who love him
Spend time with him and tell him what you need to say soon
Or you may never have the chance.

I wish you well

Just wanted to say I'm praying for you and your brother -in-law and your whole family, not only for healing , but comfort, love and support , and strength also . My dad died of cancer almost 5 years ago on April 3rd .

I would say his chances are less than 50% and he has about 1.5 years left, tell him to get a new liver right away. And if he waits too long to get the liver, his body with not have the strength to pull him through. You know what to do just do it now before its too late.

Sounds jaundice and like renal failure..I could not Diagnose survival chances, too little info.No one else on here should either without all the facts..ie;what stages are he in,age etc....kidneys are replaceable, and there is dialysis, don't know his liver issue though
