they are many support groups on the Internet, most of the hospitals have support groups for breast cancer patients and care givers. It helps alot to have someone that is going through treatment or that has been there to talk with. God Bless and I hope your grandma will do well with her treatments. Just try to be there and talk with her about what's going on, feelings, thoughts and fears. Good Luck

I'll be sure to keep your grandma in my prayers. God bless. Oh, and try Google. And if that doesn't work, try asking your local hospital.

I'm a grandma, and a survivor of 7 years. Your best sources for support are (in no particular order): the hospital where she's being treated can give you a list of support groups,
Susan G. Komen foundation - a GREAT source; American Cancer Society; local groups under the auspices of Cancer organizations, churches, schools, etc.
Your best source of help is to stay informed, listen to your grandma, and encourage HER to get involved in support groups. I was hesitant to do so, but looking back - I should have. (We get stubborn in our old age, and want privacy during a very UN-private treatment.) Be willing to go with her to treatment, and you will meet others who are in the same situation - just talking with them can be very helpful.
Good luck to both of you. Treatment can be rough - but it's doable - and more importantly - SURVIVABLE. You need to survive too - regardless of the outcome, so take care of yourself, and look around for someone to help you through this.
