Remember that cancer does not produce pain. If it causes pain it is terminal. furthermore, rarely young teens get cancer, especially, the breast. Pain in the body is caused by: 1) Pressure 2) ischemia = lack of blood supply 3) necrosis = tissue or cells death |

not really. it could just be a hormonal imbalance. I know quite a few girls get breast pain just before their periods. Also most women have pretty bad breast pain during pregnancy and it gets worse when they start breast feeding. |

No. This not actually true in all cases. About 8 years ago I noticed what I thought might me a knot or mass of some kind in my left breast. Nothing hurt at all. So several month, maybe six or so my husband were on a cruise. I told him and he felt it. When I got back to the U.S. I did get it checked. Yes, it was cancer, but still not not have any pain at all. They did a mastectomy on me after a through biopsy. I am a cancer survivor. My husband had lost both of her breasts and did die. They was divested and afraid for me. I was well taken care of by him, as well as having to go through Chem, Radiation and ten the drug Tamoxifen. I am now cancer fess, praise God and the fact that I had a husband that cared for me. I hope your friend will get to the doctor soon. It may be from caffeine. I had a problem in my late 20"s and it was the caffeine that I drank in sodas. Most all I drink now is caffeine free. I did suffer some pain with that. I wish I had a solution for your friend. Get her to the doctor as soon as you can. She can not wait. |
