I don't have any medical expertise, but as Leukemia is a cancer of the bone marrow, and bone marrow produces the red blood cells, i would have thought Leukemia would give a low red count instead.
You really need to ask your doctor, and try to include ALL of your symptoms, there may be something you don't think is important but it may indicate another condition.

No. My normall white blood cell count is 4. Your white cell count becomes high when you have an infection in which the cells need to kill.

no, but you are more likely to get cancer. when the body has a low W.B.Count it doesn't recognise that there is a problem in your body and it business as usual, cancer come in undetected. i was introduced to a product that boost the immune system 437%, it supports, balances and maintain the proper required levels and also fights any i mean any forgien oject in your body. it has a kill rate of 99% on cancer cells when 12 caps are taken daily, 6 morning and 6 noon. look at sourse check it out. my sister in law had breast cancer and after taking Transfer Factor Plus for 3 months the cancer was gone. Good luck.

More testing is warranted. Depends on how low a white count there is. I suggest your doc order an M protein to rule out multiple myloma. If that is elevated, a bone marrow biopsy could be in order.

A low white cell count, I heard, means you're body isn't able to fight off an infection. I'm not sure about the leukemia thing. I think I've heard that before, but I'm not 100% sure.

White blood cells help fight infection in your body.
A normal white blood cell count ranges from 4,500 to 10,000 cells per microliter of blood. A mild decrease in white blood cells below 4,500 cells per microliter doesn't necessarily indicate a serious illness.
However, a dangerously low white blood cell count — below 2,500 cells per microliter — increases the risk of serious infection.
If you have had viral infections you white blood cell count could be reduced. Unless you have other symptoms that are associated with Leukemia it is unlikely.
I suggest at this stage you take Echinacea - a herbal product – that is good at raising the immune defences to viruses if taken for brief periods (don’t take it for more than a month). You can get it at the local pharmacy.
By the way: An abnormal white blood cell count is often one of the first signs of leukemia. Those with acute leukemia may have abnormally high or low white blood cell counts, while those with chronic forms of the disease always have abnormally high counts. It is always worth speaking to a qualified Dr!
You must have had tests for a reason, try talking to your Dr about the results and get an explaination you are able to understand, or you could worry unduly!
All the best!

Yes. But you're toe being a little numb could also mean you have Alzheimer's. You might have just gotten over a cold, or are on the verge of getting one. If you're concerned, just see a doctor.

YES, definitely.
I have had 'hairy cell leukaemia' which differs from other forms of leukaemia in that a LOW white blood cell count is the main initial sign. The 'hairy cell' name comes from the characteristic shape of the unhealthy cells which replace normal white blood cells in this form of leukaemia.
I was lucky in that I was a blood donor and my leukaemia was picked up in the very early stages. I had chemo for this some months ago and thankfully the signs are pretty good that I will recover from it OK.
Please see your doctor.
