0	No it doesnt, well just know that your more likely to get cancer watching tv then smoking weed. Dont listen to people that are saying "Yea of course it causes cancer" and "Weed is bad." The only reason why some OLD studies claimed there was a link between weed and cancer is because they were done on people who smoked cigarettes and just happen to smoke weed. New studies of 2007 have proved theres no link between marijuana and cancer in fact, Cannabis is known to cure asthma. Trust me ,marijuana is nowhere near as bad as the government claims it to be its just because they cant tax it is the reason why its illegal. Its just a plant with no man made chemicals whatsoever and if you smoke marijuana, people should not judge because obviously they dont know enough about and are just saying what they see on these bogus Above the Influence commercials. Researchers don't give much credit to the alibi's of marijuana smokers about their Nicotine use since they are 'drug addicts', implying that they are more likely to lie. So, that is why they cannot rule out Nicotine as the main cause of cancer. Therefore, there will never be evidence linking marijuana to cancer, its not logical in light of the previous passage unless scientists stop relying on patient studies. Marijuana is currently being tested as a cancer cell inhibitor, meaning it may slow the development of cancer cells, but marijuana has show no evidence to cure cancer, especially, since it causes it. milk	No, it doesn't. All these people who are saying yes are ill informed. The largest, long-term study from UCLA on effects of cannibis on cancer has definitively shown that there is no link between getting cancer and blazin', even in the heaviest of smokers. While marijuana smoke contains several carcinogens just like cigarette smoke, it also contains THC, which has been speculated to have a preventative effect on cancer by killing old cells before they can turn cancerous. BeehiveHoney	Marijuanna contains more carcinogens than tobacco. However, I don't think there's any data showing whether or not it causes cancer. You would have to track pot smokers who don't smoke tobacco for a number of years. That could be tricky since pot is illegal. Just legalize pot. Within 20 years there will be a class action suit.
