Cancer type?
Ages ago, my friend went to the doctors because she fainted heaps of times in one day for no apparent reason.
The doctor said that she might have a type of cancer.
He did tests, and it turns out she's just having panic attacks.

Now, i faint alot and my mother doesn't want to take me to the doctors because she thinks nothing of my fainting. ( >_< )
I asked my friend what type of cancer the doctor said she might of had but she cant remember.
I've tried looking it up on the net but nothing comes up.

So, does anyone know what type of cancer im talking about?
Thankssss.

ok i think you definatly need to get her checked out by a specialist... or 3 or 4 !!! cancer is serious, my mother had tests done and they all came up negitive and then it turned out that she did have cancer and coz they didnt detect it it was really serious. im sooo sorry to hear about this, i dnt know what type of cancer it could be but get it checked up again

fainting can be due to ANYTHING! Especially stress, standing up too fast, high or low blood sugar even diabetes. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that you have some type of cancer....

Have you been eating regularily? Taking drugs? Pregnant?
If you have just starting passing out for no apparent reason, you need to go to the doctor ASAP! This is NOT normal. Make the call yourself if Mamma is saying "no".

Sorry Mickie, don't know...

but do know that brain cancer causes fainting and disorientation...preceded by migraines. Don't worry, I seriously doubt you have cancer.

You could have low blood pressure or low-blood sugar, both of these can cause light headedness, dizziness, fainting.

You should see a doctor.

Dehydration, Thyroid disorders, and donating blood have caused me to have fainting spells...(more than 20 years ago).

Feel better soon!

Perhaps the doctor was referring to cardiopulmonary syndrome that can be caused by a malignant tumor in the chest or by lymphoma.
