Bowel cancer? can it cure itself?
I have a Christain friend who has bowel cancer, he's not going to go for an operation as he said that he is going to pray to God to cure him, and that God will answer his prays,,, I think that he is taking a huge chance.. But,, true story.. our pastor was diagnosed with bowel cancer, and he prayed to God to cure him with the other pastors and he was cured... he definitely had bowel cancer and i can remember his own son ( a good friend of mine) distraught that his father would not go for an operation, until of course it cured itself...!!

My other Christain friend is using the Pastor as an example of how God can cure cancer, using this excuse not to have an operation himself,,,

What i need to know is can bowel cancer cure itself naturally ( without God) , have there being any cases of this recorded?

My opinion is that what happened our Pastor was a fluke, and it just happened that he prayed to GOD at the same time.
I need evidence to suggest to my friend this possibility

miracles do happen, why not ask your friend to have the operation and ask the priest to do his bit afterwards,

Nothing is impossible but self cure is rare indeed, however you pray. This person needs to seek medical help and advice rapidly, this will be a very nasty life period before death. They must have already had some medical help for the diagnosis - maybe they are just ,naturally, very frightened and need help with this for a start.

Here To Help
I think it's his choice to make, and all you people shouldn't be so judgemental.
I think he should go to a doctor and have an operation that he needs, as the longer you leave it it will spread and become worse. Then there might not be much doctors can do.
But if he doesn't want to live then that's up to him.

the days of Elijah
God does indeed perform miracles. Jesus performed many of them on earth about 2000 years ago. I have had many miracles in my life. Without God you can do nothing. God bless your dad for having such great faith. I am a christian.

the most likley answer is misdiagnosis I don't know the intricet details but God seems to be the first answer people use when something good happens and people don't consider the full posibilities. I have nothing against any faith infact I am a christian but I feel God does not save life on earth. I would say your friend needs to bear in mind that he's no use to god in a coffin so needs the lifesaving treatment. Doctors perform the real miracles!

I think God has heard all kinds of prayers from people with cancer. His answer was to create doctors.
Doctors are not perfect , nor are they Gods. But I think , if you believe in God, doctors are HIS helping hand.

Family Healer
Me, my teachers and my friends have cure cancers. I cure cancer and I am not religious. It helps for those who are religious to be religious.

All Cancers, have 4 components:

Fungus,
Fluke worms eating your liver,
Liver polluted with isopropyl alcohol.
Constipation (colon, kidneys, liver)

Address fungus / yeast systematically by virgin coconut oil detoxing.

Fluke worms, address them by doing parasite cleansing, the cancer dosage is 10 teaspoons of barefoot herbalist MH's dewormer per day, or any other herbal dewormer + zapping.

Isopropyl alcohol, remove all sources of isopropyl alcohol, no soap, no shampoo, no rubbing alcohol, no makeup, no shaving creams or aftershave, no bottled water, no packaged juices, pure food, no personal care products at all, no air fresheners, etc. See Hulda Clark's book Cure for All Cancers for pollution avoidance.

Address constipation by doing powerful colon cleansing, kidney cleansing and liver flushing)

Eat an all raw diet. Raw paleolithic is anti-candida, low carb, high fat. 1 part raw protein, 3 parts raw fat, 0.8 parts raw carbs from fruits. Supplement only with home distilled or reverse osmosis water less than 2 TDS, get a TDS meter.

Then see the rest of my cancer cure protocol and enjoy the rest of your life on permanent remission. http://www.curemanual.com

Well the chances are the pastor found out about the cancer early and by praying to God generated a placebo effect that pushed his body into fighting the cancer harder and being strong enough to win.

If your friend has enough devotion to cure himself them it is possible but his chances are much lower without medical attention.

Personally, no. But miracles happen every day. If your friend is not miracle bound, then the cancer will spread. Colon cancer is fairly aggressive. Once it spreads, there is less survival. Imho, I think your friend is taking a HUGE risk.

Without proper medical help, bowel cancer is a killer and a very nasty way to die. If prayer makes people feel better about it then fair enough, but prayer will not cure cancer and anyone who bellieves that it will is sadly deluded.

Spontaneous remission does happen, but it's very rare indeed.

William Boyd, a pathologist, documented a large number of such instances in a book he published in 1961. He estimated that approx one in every 100,000 cases of cancer will show spontaneous remission.

In his documentation collected from data extending over 100 years, more than half the proven cases of spontaneous remission came from four types of tumour: renal-cell cancer, melanoma, neuroblastoma and choriocarcinoma. In the other half of the cases, there were one or two examples in almost every type of cancer.

So it's possible, but unlikely, that your pastor's cancer went into remission on its own.

Other possibilities exist; he may have been misdiagnosed; he may have self-diagnosed (some people do) and not had cancer. Or he may have been having some form of treatment; I'm not suggesting he's dishonest, but it often happens that people credit alternative treatments, or prayer, for their remission, and actually forget they have had SOME sort of conventional treatment which has helped.

If praying was all it took, no believer would die of cancer, and millions do. An atheist like me wouldn't be fit and well almost five years after treatment for advanced, aggressive cancer - I promise you, I didn't say a single prayer.
