All thoughts are like boats on the upper layers of ever flowing water in a river.

like the boat is dependent on the movement of water so are our thoughts dependent on the type and kind of energy upon which they travel.

The best of the positive energies are those of the spirits of joy, love, and compassion.

The orignal source of all energies are only their related spirits, and not either the emotions, feeling, thoughts, or actions whch only apparently seem to be giving either joy, love, or compassion to the self.

If any one feels the continuous presence of flow of negative thoughts and energies within hs self; without his being able to stop or divert them; then the best he can do is to work hard to connect his self with those people, places, things, and actions from which positive energies flow in the form of spirits.

There are two very important places from where positive energies flow. The first one is the green gardens/parks from where the self can benefit most; provided however that he is there atleast one hour before sun rise.

The second is any religious place; specially the early morning and evening prayer times.

If in addition, physical actions are also performed; either in the form of exercises in the parks (preferably yoga exercises); or in the form of services of the type of cleaning, praying, offering food, water in the religious places; preferably as a routine and regular duty and service of self by self offered through the medium of prayer and worship of god to god himself; then the best of the benefits can be derived from both the places.

It takes time, but in the long run gives the ability of enjoying all the work which the self does; and that is what the world carves for; JOY TO THE SELF.

all your goals imagine that you have them imagine that you are there and your mind attracts what you think, by the book The Secret it tells how to think positive, trust it's no way close to boring you'll be surprised by it. It worked for me.

Yes there is. Research I did in the 90's showed that 85% of spontaneous thoughts are negative, critical and judgemental and lead to anxiety, worry, sadness and depression.

Your thoughts that arise unbidden are trying to get your attention to show you something about yourself. Although we project these thoughts onto others, they are actually about us. Instead of despairing at ourselves, we can face our thoughts as teachers and learn so much about who we really are and how we really are.

After 12 months working like this, I no longer had negative thoughts because I had accepted and worked with them to change ME. Then when any negative thought arose it was to show me something else about me that I couldn't see.

Write down your thoughts at each meal. As many of your thoughts that you can remember since the last time you wrote them down. Keep a diary of your thoughts until you get a good indicator of what your thoughts are about specifically.

Then start with one negative thought you have about yourself or someone else. Write it down in a short sentence until you are totally happy with the sentence.

It might be:

So and so is cruel when she tells stories to my friends about me.
Then forget about so and so and write the sentence in the first person.
eg I am cruel when I tell stories to my friends about others.

Without getting defensive or emotional, logically consider when and how you do this. Find the situations and examples in your life when it applies. See the pattern of your negative behaviour and decide what you can do to change it.

If you can't think of ways to change, think about how so and so should behave and you can apply it to yourself.

50% of our behaviour remains hidden from us. We can easily judge others and decide how they should behave but never rationally examine our own actions and how we should change. Begin to do this and you will see your negative thinking acts as a guide to yourself. Listen to your thoughts and recognise they are all about you. Change your own behaviour and your thoughts will let up their negativity.

This works. It is called facing your shadow or your own darkness. It is enlightenment and if you practise it consistently your life will be transformed. You will eventually be grateful for a negative thought because it is a further opportunity to see a truth about yourself that has been hidden.

The trick is to accept that there are things that you can change about your behaviour in order for you to become a person that you can really admire and respect.

It is important to recognise that self control and self discipline is essential.

Remain in an intellectual and logical state of mind while doing this. Becoming emotional leads to denial and being a "poor me" or feeling like a victim and won't help you get to the truth.

I find it's a process of training. So, how would you train someone if you were the teacher? How would you train a child?

For me, a great teacher is generous and forgiving. So that's how I try to teach myself. When I make a mistake and embrace a negative thought I accept that I'm human and have frustrations. I try not to make it worse by adding negative thoughts about being negative!

And when I find I'm patient with some frustration that can trigger negativity, I express gratitude to myself for work well done. Showing compassion for others who are caught in the negativity trap can also help deal with your own negative thinking. How you judge others is how you will tend to treat yourself - so be generous with others, not harsh.

Gratitude is a subtle but powerful path to being a positive person.

You might look up Optimists International and give them a try if you want a little support on your journey.

It's called making a decision to think positive thoughts. It's too easy to think the negative thoughts and wallow in our own self pity and we become so accustomed to it that we think that we can't change it while in fact, if you want to change the way you think, then determine to do it. Your thoughts do not control you, you control them!

Start immediately to do positive thins, the things that cause us to grow. Grow here does not mean grow in size but mentally. Examples are walking, reading, solving puzzles, meeting good people, surfing the web, learning a language, listening to music and or learning to play music.
At the same time stop doing things that you regret later or that cause wasting of time and energy, or that ruin your health or your reputation.
In everybody there is self love and self hate. The first group of actions are directed by your self love. The second group of actions are directed by your self hate. Try to see to it that your actions are derived more from your self love.

I got the "Secret" it is video that tells how to be more positive and to attract more positive people, events, ideas, relationships etc... It teaches the Law of Attraction.
I know it works, it changed my life for the better.

Try to look at things and situations from a different point of view. Stay open minded to new things and peoples opinions and ideas. It is good to be passionate about the things that you believe, but different people may view things in a way that you wouldn't have thought of. If you let these ideas in, and look a things in a new light, you may find your thoughts expanding to include positive things.

No there is not. You have to think positive thoughts. You get what you give. Whenever you catch yourself thinking or saying something negative, correct yourself. Make it habit; soon you will be giving and getting postive energy.

Yes, you can change your energy to positive, and it is easier than you think.

First, every night, before you go to sleep, you will do a 'daily review'. Mentally go thru your day and when you come to an event that you were not happy with, erase it, then replay it again the way you WISHED it would have gone. You will need to erase and replay 3x for each negative event in the beginning.

What this does is reprograms the subconscious mind to react in a positive way without even having to think about it.

The second thing you do is start attracting positive energy to you. To do this, you think of, and give thanks for 5 things everyday that you are grateful for. Example: I am grateful for my health, I am grateful I have a job, I am grateful I have family that loves me, that I can feel the sun on my face today, that I have brightened someone else's day with a smile, that I was able to help my neighbor, etc, you get the idea.

Being grateful starts the flow of positive energy. You'll start to feel happier, you will feel lighter. Try it for a month, then write to me and let me know how things are going for you. I'm willing to bet that you'll be feeling much more positive energy in your life. :)
