Cutting caffeine and sugar will help, but there is so much more you could do.
Some of the most popular natural products for stress are Gaba, L-Theanine, Rhodiola Rosea, 5-HTP, and L-Tryptophan.

Cut a head of lettuce in four pieces. Boil one of the quarters in three cups water and boil for ten minutes. Strain and drink as tee sweetened with honey.
You can also make a tea using orange tree leaves if you have any on hand. Sweeten with honey.
These teas will relax you!

valerian root helped me out alot. Valium is a synthesized version of it. I have tried the tinctures, but you can also get Valerian tea. By the way, cat's like it as much or more than Catnip! But I would be careful about letting them at it since I am not sure how safe it is for them.

Kava Kava, but go to your Dr. and get a prescription for something else.
Dietary supplements are an unregulated industry. You might buy something that says Kava-Kava on the label but not contain any of that ingredient at all. That's what unregulated means. You'll screw around with this for weeks trying to find something to make you feel better when you could just go to your Dr. for osmething that will help right away.
