You need a cough suppresant & antihistamine to stop the drainage causing cough. Try Choloraseptic cough drops for the pain.

I give my kids a spoonful of honey before they go to sleep an they seem better. Then again you can also put it in a cup of hot tea with lemon. Best of luck

my mom and i made our own stuff following an Elder's recipe- pint of cheap, strong whisky. add crushed Peppermint and honey, and dash of lemon juice. It is nasty and burns and you will not cough for a good while!!

boil the kettle whilst that is boiling add two or three tablespoons depending on your tastes to a cup/mug the cut one fresh lemon and squeeze jucie into the mug pour boiling water over the honey and lemon breath it in and sip till all gone do this everytime your throat feels dry and horse.

d best remedy is to gargle. take warm water nd put some salt in it nd den gargle. do it everyday before brushing ur teeth. dis helps to Loosen d conjestion in d lungs nd clears d cough. along with dis u can also inhale steam which also helps to clear out d lungs. i am 100% sure dat ull get rid of d cough in not more dan 5 days.

Tequila. :) alcohol is the main ingredient in most cough syrups. take a teaspoon or even a full shot, you would be surprised at what this simple liquid can do.
