Caffeine or supplements will only fix the problem on a temporary basis. You must look at your whole lifestyle such as sleeping pattern, what type of food you are eating as junk food can make you really tired... and the most important thing is exercise as it helps the blood circulating and gives you lots and lots of Energy...

Do not take stimulants such as coffee, Red Bull etc. Will only make you fell more tired when the temporary artifical 'high' is over.
The best supplement is Ginseng. Go for quality, Korean is the best followed by Siberian.
I have found it works best if you take a'holiday' from it every 8-12 weeks for a couple of weeks.
Exercise is the best natural remedy for tiredness. Try to do some Gentle aerobic exercise 3 times a week. If you don't currently exercise you'll be amazed by the difference.

Vitamin B, but don't rely on it too much. Nothing melts tireness away more effectively than a nice, hot shower(a steam sauna is better) followed by full shiatsu massage and stretching, a glass of warm milk and a good night sleep. Trust me. BUT DON'T OVERSLEEP!

Any kind of caffeine pill may help, but sometimes for me caffeine just makes me jittery but doesn't actually make me less tired.
Something to consider is that your tiredness is not being caused by lack of sleep - sometimes also by lack of quality of sleep (i.e. sleepless nights). You may have also some other deficiency, such as a lack of iron (mainly females) which would make you feel lathargic. Stress, anemia, or an underactive Thyroid gland may also cause tiredness. Also to improve general health you can take Multivitamin Supplement tablets, that may help too.
But if it's just a day or so where you feel tired, I'd say try to keep up the energy level by moving around and enjoy a coffee!

Any of the B-Vitamins especially B-12. Or just take a multi-vitamin everyday. You could have low iron which may make u feel tired. Drink 8-10 glasses of water each day and try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night.

You can always try to add more protein. Met-rx makes some great high protein bars that will help you keep the focus. Another thing you could do is drink a low carb/high protein shake. That will take the tired edge off in the morning.
