Light Shadow	Vit C helps if u drink daily to avoid flu. Since u already have it, avoid ice water or cold drinks. try tea mix with mint leaves, lots of those. If u have Ginseng, brew it with tea and drink. Take soft porridge or steamed food, avoid spicy greasy food. Avoid chocolates for the time being. If u heard of Olbas oil, get a bottle from the pharmacy. (they have it in Boots UK). One or two drop on tissue and tuck it under the pillow sheet. It helps clear your nose and breathing. katbyrd41	Doctors know there is no cure for a cold. Nevertheless, your doctor doesn't sound terribly with it or sympathetic. Get a new one. Meantime, look for a LIQUID medicine on the shelf, Tylenol COLD. There are several versions of it, depending what symptoms you want to dull. I get MULTI-SYMPTOM. Use the "daytime" variety for the day (it won't put you to sleep) and the "nighttime" variety for the night (it helps you sleep well without being super-druggy).
