I have two suggestions.
1. buy a full Spectrum light for the room you spend most of your time in.
2. In Crystal healing; Carrying an oregon sunstone is supposed to be beneficial.
You should be able to get some sunstone econimically at metaphysical or crystal stores, or on eBay.
I think the "Ellensburg Mineral Mystical N More" eBay store has sunstone. I know the person who runs the store. She also has lots of other crystals like Boji stones, Moldavite, Quartz crystals, Chaorite, EllensburgNlue Agates, and much more.

SAD light boxes. I was sceptical but they really are quite amazingly effective sometimes.
Keeping warm but not overdoing the central heating, and getting lots of exercise.
Also making sure you eat enough fruit and veg as winter often lends yearning for comfort food and stodge.
Those are the things I tend to employ as I know the feeling all too well :-)

Since (most of the time) a mild winter depression is SADS, or not enough sunlight, causing a down feeling- almost hibernation; Buy a full-Spectrum bulb/ lamp and sit or work near it for a few hours every day.
Place some plants around it, too- especially a flowering one.
