What is it like to be on ecstasy?

cameron d	you love everyone, you want to dance and move your body and touch everything and party all night long, you talk ALLOT and listen to music and lights look allot brighter then usual its the bes feeling in the world, you dont feel drunk you dont feel high or like you are on Cocaine, you feel normal just VERY happy and touchy and nice and wanna dance and everything, you dont fall over or get tired or anything its amazing!

Jared L	It's not particularly dangerous. In the UK hundreds of thousands of ecstasy pills are taken every weekend and only a few people die each year, usually because they've been taking other stuff too.

macandsushi	Being on ecstasy varies from person to person and also from pill to pill! But I'll describe my expereinces on it. The first effects I usually feel are these amazing waves coming up through my body. Usually this is followed by hours of dancing where I really don't care about anything but the music. With e it's totally a whole body thing. Your body just feels so good! You cant stop moving. You also feel heaps light. After a while you mellow out a bit and feel very chatty. Usually I have very "deep" conversations. After all this is the dreaded come down. I get very anti social at this point haha and dont feel like talking or dancing. I find that it's best to leave the club as the music starts to make me feel sick after a while. Then you go home, can't eat for a few days because your jaw kills and/or you have a bunch of painful ulcers but you still cant wait til next weekend so you can do it all again! Now that's a GOOD experience on pills. I've had some pretty **** ones as well. Usually it's me feeling heaps nauseous coming up. Like I need to throw up. This usually passes. But it bloody sucks. And I HAVE thrown up once on it. There have also been times where I get the exact opposite feeling of when I am on a good pill. I dont want to dance. I feel very heavy. I dont want to talk and I dont want people to touch me. My friends call this "smacking out". A lot of my friends have told me that "it's all in your head" and your mood effects how you feel and I think this is true to an extent! But sometimes you just feel very heavy and can't get up to dance. Anyway everyone says your first time is the best but my THIRD time on it was probably the best ever and was quite possibly the best night of my life yet because I just felt so happy and amazing. Anyway if you're thinking about doing it, remember to wear loose clothing!! And drink enough water - but not too much!
