Probably not. The digestive juices in your stomach most likely destroyed it. Wait until tomorrow and take another one, but take it correctly.

If it is a tablet you put ON your tongue and let dissolve, then it will still work.
If it is a tablet you put UNDER your tongue and let dissolve, then it will either not work, or work more slowly and less effectively. This will depend on which medication you are talking about.

Nope. It has to dissolve through your stomach to get into your bloodstream in order to work.

depends, some medications are designed to melt in the mouth because stomach acids destroy them, others are made that way so absorption is quicker.
Had you named the medication, I could have told you.

It will then dissolve in your stomach. Yes, it will work unless it's Vit B-12, and then you'll get a much lesser effect b/c B-12 is destroyed by stomach acids.

Yea, it'll just dissolve in your belly. I think those orally disintegrating pills are just for your convenience so that they can be taken without liquid.

It really depends on the med, and its purpose. If it is a sleeping pill for instance (It's 9:20 here, so that's why I'm using this example). (Same goes for Nitro). They are recommended under the tongue because they are absorbed more quickly. They'll still work though, maybe to a lesser degree, but it is subjective, so...But if is and anti-fungal, say, for example for thrush, then, obviously it wouldn't be as therapeutic.

Of course it will dissolve in your stomach. If you're worried, drink a glass of water.
