The Hog	I am very pleased with the effect of some crystals. Sodium Chloride and sucrose in moderate quantities improve flavours and the latter is packed with energy. Sodium Hydroxide crystals help to clean my drains. Quartz crystals keep my watch on time and with a bit of gaseous halogens light up my life. Crystalline carbon cheers up my wife if set in white gold (another crystal). But holding lumps of rock on bits so that their 'healing energy' will do good is a load of rubbish. Wei100	If you asked me that question a few years ago i would be open about spiritual functions but i would also be pretty skeptical about their therapeutic effects. However, i bought a moonstone a long while ago and unless you are the type of person who is very spiritual and able to manage your 'energies' its not going to work for you. MAJORITY OF HEALTH PROBLEMS RESULT FROM MALFUNCTIONING OF AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM WHICH CAN BE IN YOUR CONTROL BY STRONG FAITH AND WILL POWER. John	I have started to collect crystals since i started doing reiki, i haven't had to use them much so i dont know if they can cure people but they certainly help, i have had a sore neck on 2 different occasions and with the help of reiki and crystals it has really helped with the pain, on the second occasion i could hardly move cause of the pain but after an hour of reiki and crystals i was able to move about with not to much pain, i was using blue lace agate which helps with neck and shoulder pain. aspirit	Do some research on crystals. You'll be surprised at what you find. Crystals store energy and channel it. Each one has a different vibration. Your body is a mass of vibrating energy that responds to the crystals. Its very subtle energy, so find a quiet place in your mind and feel the energy in the crystals. Was this answer helpful to you? Yeti	A part of our brain is still in the stone age. Nobody has measured any effect of crystals to my knowledge. Aren't they as effective as lucky underpants, etc. The shops are run by people who have spotted a nice little earner. I don't see anyone doing this kind of business for charity. originalpuppycat	Just becaue you can't see it working, does not mean it isn't working..... I believe that crystals can heave healing powers.... My partner disagrees with me. Have you heard of Reiki? I have my Master level in Reiki healing... We (Reiki healers) sometimes use crystals in our therapy sessions to help focus the healing energies that we use and enhance them. I do think it has come too commercialised though. Remember, being commercial does not stop something from working either. It does make it more expensive though. I suggest looking on the internet. Everything seems to be cheaper on the net!!! I personally have a clear quartz, a rose quartz and an amathyst.... They make me feel a little more relaxed when I hold them and focus on them.
