If you're tired you can't learn stuff or concentrate. If you're staying up to urgently finish homework, listen to music, drink something with caffeine/sugar in and breath deeply to get lots of oxygen to your brain! |

Walking around briskly after sitting down for a long while helps shake off the sleepiness-I worked full time night shift as a day time nursing student and had alot of sleepy moments! I did the coffee thing but in the end I just felt nauseated or jittery but still exhausted. I relied heavily on Comprehensive Vitamin B oral drops and frequent small long lasting carbohydrate and protein snacks instead of larger meals to get through. Drinking alot of water helps fend off those dehydration headaches and dullness that accompany pulling long hours. |
