cetaphyll, and lotions, or, avoid water, water dries your skin out, and if it is really bad, use aquafore everytime your face would come in contact with water, again WATER dries out skin

If you are a young woman of child-bearing age, the problem may be hormonal. Try taking vitex (vitex agnus castus, aka Chaste Tree Berry) for 30 days. Also helps with pms & cramps.
Safe and effective for teenage boys, too. And women in peri-menopause. vitex is a hormone balancer.
If it seems to be linked to your diet at all, do an internal cleanse with Burdock Root.

I would try going to a chiropractor. Your acne may be do to an interference in your nervous system. This could cause hormonal imbalance which could affect anything from acne to infertility.

wow, you sound EXACTLY like me. i have tried absolutly EVERYTHING and nothing has worked. i have now finalllyyyy gotten my face clear. its amazing. i use prescription stuff called Klaron. it takes about 2-4 weeks to work, but its so worth it. my face is perfect now and i have never been happier. it doesnt try out my face at all. i have always had that problem with my face being dried out from acne medicine, and now its perfectly fine. i also have used proactive. i does work, but after it while it stops working because u get used to it. im sure u have already tried that though...i wash my fash with this stuff called EXUVIENCE. it makes my face extremly soft and doesnt dry out. i hope this works for you. good luck =]

Proactiv is overpriced as hell. They don't have Jessica Simpson doing commercials for free, after all. The active ingredients in it (Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicilic acid) can be found in an inexpensive line of products called "Acne free". I use their cleanser, spot treatment, and Eucerin oil-free mosturizer and I haven't had a breakout in months. You can buy all of it at Wal-Mart and it will cost you somewhere around 20 bucks for all 3 in full-size bottles that will last about a month.
Start out using just a little bit of the spot treatment once a day and gradually increase to twice daily. Apply all over your face--not just to existing spots. Same deal with the mosturizer.
Also, keep hands, cell phones, and other objects away from your face! That will help prevent acne from starting since it comes from bacteria and bacteria love to inhabit those types of places.
