What's a good colon cleansing kit I can buy at my local supermarket?
And how do I use it? How long does it take? What is the approximate cost of it?...

I just purchased a kit yesterday online at www.DrNatura.com. It is a 1month process and costs $58.00. This product has a 5 star rating from Heath Magazine. The process involves a drink and a tablet in the a.m. and a cup of tea at night. If you look up this website it will explain and show some of the grossest pictures of fecal matter that has been in people for years. It also explains the parasites that can be in your system. This website has some amazing information! I also spoke with their customer service and they were very helpful and friendly and their product comes with a 60day money back gaurantee. You can also just search "whole body detox" and find some sites that will give you information and list all of the different brands of colon kits. Do some research first. Just eating veggies or prunes will not get the "old" stuff out, you need a specific blends of herbs and fiber. Good Luck! |

All of this hype about colon cleansing is just that. If you eat steamed broc. a couple of times a week as well as other fruits and veggies your upper and lower intestines will stay healthy. Your body if healthy will cleanse itself and these cleansing kits are a total waste of money. Drink Pomegranate juice and eat yogurt with active cultures as well. If you don't believe me, go ask a doctor who performs colonoscopies and he will show you actual pics of a healthy colon that hasn't ever had a"cleansing". |

One more time: YOUR COLON DOES NOT NEED TO BE CLEANED. Anyone who tells you different is merely trying to spearate you from your money. Ask your doctor if you are in doubt. He will corroberate what I'm saying. Enemas, laxatives and such will only interfere with your body's natural processes, and they can be dangerous. Don't throw your money away on bogus products. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains and leave the rest to Mother Nature. |

I don't know if you are talking about colon cleansing or laxatives. Natural Senna Leaves made into a tea is a good general cleanser for your digestive system as is a diet high in fiber. One supplement that is not available in stores is one with Acidophilus and bifidobacterium in a gel cap that keeps your upper and lower digestive tract balanced with the proper flora and good bacteria. The amount of Acidophilus is equivalent to 10 cups of yogurt. I can give you the name of the place I get this if you like. another good choice is Walmart's vegetable Laxative which is nothing more than Senna in tablet form or brand name Sennakot which is more expensive. both work well and are natural herbal remedies that have been around for centuries. People turned their backs on natural products about 50 or so years ago, when the big guns with all the money started making pharmaceuticals/ie drugs. I have never taken a Rx drug that did not have ill side effects, therefore avoid these whenever possible. Good luck and feel free to e-mail me if you want more info. |
