IAINTELLEN	To my knowledge, there is no definitive proof that smoking marijuana causes cancer. That doesn't mean it doesn't. It more likely means we're spending money on cancer studies of legal substances, and not really caring what happens to pot heads. Here's a better question... Are you aware of any case where inhaling a burning substance does a human's lungs any good? When you smoke pot, you inhale SMOKE into your lungs. Usually deeply... and probably hold it in as long as possible. Do you think a human's lungs were meant to do that? If you found out that someone who inhaled smoke often, and deeply :(like a firefighter), ended up with lung cancer? Would that make sense to you? What about the other lung diseases that rob a person of their health, like copd or emphysema? Those often come from inhaling smoke, or chemicals. If you witnessed people trying to live with those illnesses, you wouldn't just be worried about cancer. Often, when humans enjoy doing something (or become addicted) they ignore the obvious, and rationalize that it doesn't really harm them, their health, their lives, and the lives of the people around them. bayouself	I am pretty sure it can cause cancer no matter how you smoke it. Reason is, that we know that people can get cancer from even second-hand smoke... so any way you smoke it, it's not good for your lungs and can cause cancer. Boraan	Studies show that the background for most cancers is Free Radical Damage. ANY smoke has free radicals in it. You need to take antioxidants if you intend to continue this pracitice. Google those words. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

amerikkkasfavoritepothead	i did a lil research on that and it says its uncertain for sure they said it shows no evidence of causing cancer any worst than cigarettes can but i've known people who have been smoking everyday since before i was born and they are in perfect health i dont know anybody who suffers health issues from it im not saying it cant happen im just saying i dont know anybody Was this answer helpful to you?
