It is a good pain medication if your body can tolerate and if you don't abuse it. Too many people take it though and think they can still drive even though it is a narcotic.

My mother was prescribed it for years for multiple surgeries and now has been put through the "weaning" process by her doctor where they prescribe less and less to eventualy none. She buy the evil things off the street paying three dollars a piece. She has developed a horrible addiction. Addiction in a prescription.

Good pain Reliever for moderate pain if you take in consideration it contains Acetaminophen and do not take in large doses during the day, as their is a limit to how much your body can consume. Also it does have some negative adverse reactions, such as itching and upset stomach.

What do I think of Vicodin? I think it's great, amazing even. My favorite drug so far. Good and bad thing I haven't come across it again since my week-long run with it in the summer.

i have gone through a few surgeries. when i went home, i was usually sent home with a prescription for Vicodin. i always got the generic, but it helped with the pain for eye surgeries, ovarian cyst removal, and, appendectomy. if you take it like it is prescribed, and with out alcohol. it was not addicting to me. i also stopped taking it before the pain was completely gone. everyone has a level of some pain tolerance.

It is a very effective pain medication when used as directed and not for its secondary effect. I have been living with pain for many years and Vicodin has worked for me for a very long time. If I did not have the pain relief I would not be able to walk.
