Smoking marijuana before driving?

Should I smoke my medicine(marijuana) before meeting up with my driver instructor? Nowhere does it tell me not to, so would I be alright doing it?...

Ms Cat	You want to commit a DUI (driving under the influence) while learning how to drive? With your instructor in the car? Does it tell you not to drink a fifth of vodka before driving? Yes, please do, and be sure you smoke lots of it, lots and lots. I would think the world would be safer if you never got your license.

Pat T	driving while high is completely different when drunk. As long as your reaction time isn't slower when your high then go for it, otherwise you should wait till after if you can.

indeediedoo	I think that as you are taking the trouble to ask the question, you already know the answer. If you need it spelling out to you, safety on the road (not just for you and the people in your car) for all the other drivers and pedestrians, especially those young mothers with prams and babies is your biggest issue. If you hit any of them this small indiscretion can cost you anything up to 20 years in prison. I know because it happened to me,(luckily I had a good lawyer and my case was strong for accidental death) and I had not ingested anything of an intoxicating nature, but believe me, if I had the slightest whiff of anything on me I would have gone down, my life would have been completely different, and I would not have my wife and 2 children and LIFE that I have now, with the exception that I have to live with what happened and the pain that I know it caused my loved ones and all the deceased loved ones. Come back to reality with a bang, wake up and don't consider making foolish errors that can cost people their lives, including yours.

Jellybean1	high and driving is a DUI. Some people are fine when they smoke and drive, but others really F is up which is why it's illegal for everyone. But just to be safe and not get a DUI...just wait until after your driving lesson.
